On the evening of November 7th, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh, Director of the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center (Institute of Earth Sciences ), announced that an earthquake had just occurred in Hue City.
Specifically, at 9:25 PM, a magnitude 4 earthquake occurred in A Luoi 4 commune, with a focal depth of approximately 8.3 km.
The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center assessed the earthquake as not posing a natural disaster risk and is continuing to monitor it.
According to Mr. Xuan Anh, a 3.6 magnitude earthquake also occurred this afternoon in Binh Thuan commune (Son La province), with a focal depth of approximately 10km.
This earthquake also did not pose a natural disaster risk, and the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences is continuing to monitor it.
