4-magnitude earthquake in Hue, Son La also had a 3.6-magnitude earthquake

On the evening of November 7, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Anh, Director of the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center (Institute of Earth Sciences ), said that an earthquake had just occurred in Hue City.

Specifically, at 9:25 p.m., in A Luoi 4 commune, a magnitude 4 earthquake occurred, with a focal depth of about 8.3 km.

The Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center assessed that the earthquake did not pose a disaster risk and is continuing to monitor it.

According to Mr. Xuan Anh, this afternoon in Binh Thuan commune (Son La province) there was also a 3.6 magnitude earthquake, with a focal depth of about 10km.

This earthquake also does not pose a risk of natural disaster and the Earthquake Information and Tsunami Warning Center - Institute of Earth Sciences is continuing to monitor it.
