Standing alongside the workers

- Over the past period, the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company has consistently paid attention to and cared for the material and spiritual lives of its officers and employees.

Leaders of the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company presented gifts to workers at the High Voltage Grid Enterprise (Lang Son Power Company).

In May 2025 – the 2025 Workers' Month – the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company, in coordination with the Trade Union of the Northern Power Corporation, directly visited, encouraged, and presented gifts to 64 workers with particularly difficult circumstances working at power plants under Lang Son Power Company.

Among those 64 workers, each faced different hardships. Some suffered from serious illnesses, others had difficult family finances , etc., but all of these workers strived to overcome difficulties to perform their assigned tasks well.

Sharing his story, Mr. Ly Van Phong, a worker managing the operation of medium and low voltage power grids at Huu Lung Power Company, said: “Six years ago, I had to take a long leave of absence to receive treatment for nasopharyngeal cancer. During that time, the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company always supported me both materially and spiritually, which gave me more confidence and peace of mind in my work…”

In addition to the 64 workers with particularly difficult circumstances who received attention, gifts, and encouragement in May 2025, the trade unions at all levels of Lang Son Power Company have proactively coordinated with the professional departments to effectively implement welfare policies and care for the material and spiritual lives of employees, especially those working directly in the power sector. This has helped workers overcome difficulties and pressures to successfully perform all assigned tasks.

For example, from the beginning of 2024 to the present, the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company has supported more than 100 workers with medical examination and treatment costs; supported workers who suffered work accidents or occupational diseases and workers in difficult circumstances to build solid houses; supported tuition fees for children of workers in difficult circumstances; supported medical examination and treatment costs for workers with serious illnesses… with a total budget of more than 1.1 billion VND.

In addition, the company's trade union also organizes visits to encourage and support workers with essential supplies at the site; organizes visits to encourage units and workers directly involved in labor during holidays, festivals, and national, provincial, and industry-specific anniversaries; and coordinates with the professional departments to ensure occupational safety and hygiene for workers.

Along with fully implementing all regulations for workers, the Trade Union of Lang Son Power Company also actively organizes activities to promote and encourage union members and workers to study and improve their skills; organizes meetings and dialogues to understand the thoughts and aspirations of workers and resolve urgent issues; discusses the policies and regulations of the State, the parent company, and the company regarding workers; organizes cultural and sports activities;…
