Agricultural products from Tuyen Quang province "cross the sea".
With a commitment to preserving the "essence of nature" in every medicinal herb product, Mr. Tran Viet Coi, Director of Binh Minh Organic Agricultural Products Cooperative, has boldly chosen the path of green and modern production. The key to the cooperative's success lies in its advanced cold-drying system, which maximizes nutrient preservation, combined with a "5-in-1" automated packaging line, creating a closed-loop process that optimizes costs and is environmentally friendly.
This systematic investment not only generates 7 billion VND in revenue per year but also helps the cooperative complete its ecosystem of 14 products, with 7 items achieving OCOP 3-star certification. Beyond production, the cooperative has also professionalized its brand through a virtual storefront system and digital platforms to reach global customers.
The clearest evidence of a sound green branding strategy is the successful export of two products, guava tea bags and male papaya flower soaked in honey, conquering the demanding UK market.
With over 1,000 hectares of Shan Tuyet tea plantations and 220 ancient trees recognized as Vietnamese Heritage Trees, Cao Bo commune is asserting its position as the "green tea capital" of the province. Instead of traditional farming methods, the locality has promoted the application of science and technology to create more than 30 high-end product lines such as Pu-erh tea and Peony White tea, achieving OCOP 3-star standards and international organic certification. This is the "ticket" to exporting the flavors of the Tay Con Linh mountains to demanding markets such as Japan, France, and the United States, bringing in revenue of over 12 billion VND per year.
Comrade Nguyen Van Duong, Chairman of the People's Committee of Cao Bo commune, affirmed: "Developing tea production towards green and organic farming is a key strategy. Building a brand associated with preserving valuable genetic resources not only enhances economic value and creates jobs but also serves as a foundation for our local agricultural products to confidently reach the global market."

A breakthrough from production mindset to green economy.
Tuyen Quang province is asserting its position on the map of clean agricultural products with 454 OCOP products (3-5 stars). In particular, the fact that 6 OCOP products and Soi Ha pomelos have reached the UK market demonstrates the transformation from "agricultural production" to a green and modern "agricultural economy".
To conquer demanding markets, Tuyen Quang focuses on building strong linkages between 125 businesses, more than 900 cooperatives and cooperative groups. This linkage ensures a closed production process, clear traceability, and compliance with high quality standards.
A prime example is the Hong Phat Organic Agricultural Cooperative in Kim Binh commune, which has successfully established the position of its Green-Hearted Black Bean Tea bag brand. The key to its brand strength lies in its rigorous "green" production process: from soil preparation and soaking the seeds with biological preparations to caring for them according to their natural growth cycle.
Recognizing agriculture as the "backbone" of the economy, the province is implementing breakthroughs through a series of solutions: developing concentrated raw material areas linked to the application of high technology; prioritizing organic agriculture, circular agriculture, and proactively adapting to climate change; and promoting the restructuring of the industry towards "ecological agriculture, modern rural areas, and civilized farmers".

According to Mr. Pham Manh Duyet, Director of the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the province focuses on attracting businesses to invest in deep processing and perfecting the traceability system. This is a systematic roadmap to enhance competitiveness and help Tuyen Quang's agricultural products break free from traditional practices.
The dramatic shift from a purely agricultural mindset to a green agricultural economy has created new opportunities for Tuyen Quang province. By harmoniously combining science and technology with local identity, Tuyen Quang's OCOP products not only increase farmers' income but also confidently assert their position in demanding international markets. This is proof of a well-planned roadmap, making agriculture a solid "pillar" towards ecological, modern, and sustainable development in the future.
