Kinhtedothi-On February 17, the Emulation Cluster of the Department of Justice and the Civil Judgment Enforcement Department of centrally-run cities held a conference to summarize emulation and reward work in 2024 and sign an emulation covenant for 2025.
Emulation movement associated with political tasks, improving work efficiency
In 2024, units in the Emulation Cluster actively implemented emulation movements associated with political and professional tasks, achieving many important results. Emulation work continued to be innovated, ensuring substance and effectiveness, creating motivation to promote the completion of the industry's political tasks.
The evaluation and reward work is carried out publicly and transparently, ensuring the right person for the right job, and timely encouragement for groups and individuals with outstanding achievements. Many good models and creative ways of doing things are replicated, contributing to improving the quality of judicial work and civil judgment enforcement.
In the field of drafting, appraising, inspecting and reviewing legal documents (LDOs), the Departments of Justice in the Cluster have appraised 458 draft LDOs, advised on the promulgation of 467 documents, and inspected 337 documents according to regulations. State management of mediation continues to receive attention with 13,051 mediation teams and 72,598 mediators operating effectively, contributing to maintaining security and order, and limiting disputes among the people.
The work of building communes and wards that meet legal access standards has been implemented synchronously, achieving a high rate in many localities. Of which, Hanoi achieved 96%, Ho Chi Minh City achieved 98.4%, Da Nang achieved 98.2%, Hai Phong achieved 95.9% and Can Tho achieved 95.2%.
In the field of civil enforcement, the total number of cases resolved in 2024 is 237,278, reaching a settlement rate of 83.59% over the number of cases eligible for enforcement, exceeding the set target.
Determined to successfully carry out the 2025 mission
Speaking at the conference, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Da Nang People's Committee Ho Ky Minh emphasized that the judicial sector plays an important role in advising and organizing the implementation of legal policies, contributing to the socio-economic development of the locality. In particular, in 2024, the National Assembly passed Resolution No. 136/2024/QH15 on the organization of urban government and specific mechanisms for Da Nang, with the active contribution of judicial agencies.
Deputy Minister of Justice Nguyen Thanh Tinh acknowledged and commended the achievements of the Emulation Cluster in 2024. He emphasized that 2025 is a year with many important events such as Party Congresses at all levels, the 80th anniversary of the establishment of the judiciary and the 6th Patriotic Emulation Congress of the judiciary. Therefore, the judiciary needs to continue to promote emulation movements in a practical and effective manner, associated with political and professional tasks.
The Deputy Minister requested units in the Emulation Cluster to thoroughly grasp and seriously implement Directive No. 41-CT/TW of the Politburo on emulation and commendation work in the new situation; strictly implement the Law on Emulation and Commendation 2022 and guiding documents. At the same time, continue to promote the spirit of solidarity, discipline, responsibility, improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the industry's operations.
Honoring advanced models, creating new competitive motivation
At the conference, the Emulation Cluster reviewed and honored the emulation titles in 2024 and announced the decision to establish the Emulation Cluster and Emulation Block in 2025. The Director of the Department of Justice of Can Tho City was assigned the task of Head of the Emulation Cluster in 2025.
In recognition of the outstanding achievements in the emulation work in 2024, the Ministry of Justice awarded a Certificate of Merit to the Department of Justice of Da Nang City - the Head of the Emulation Cluster in 2024. The achieved results are an important driving force for the entire judicial sector to continue to compete and strive to excellently complete the tasks in 2025, contributing to the socio-economic development of localities and the whole country.
