Currently, the province has over 2,177 administrative procedures that are implemented regardless of administrative boundaries. In the first five months of 2026, the province received and processed over 219,000 administrative procedure dossiers; of which over 207,000 were processed online, accounting for over 93%. The on-time resolution rate reached over 97%, and the level of citizen satisfaction reached 100%.
Digital transformation is not only evident in the administrative sector but also increasingly present in people's lives. At medical facilities, the use of chip-embedded citizen identification cards (CCCDs) and smart support devices helps shorten the time for medical examination and treatment procedures. Ms. Quach Bich Chi, from Kim Cau hamlet, Vinh Trach ward, said: "Now, when going for a medical examination, I just need to bring my CCCD, scan the information at the kiosk to get a queue number, and the procedures are faster than before, without long waits." This is also a common experience for many people as medical facilities promote the application of digital technology in patient reception and treatment.
In addition to 100% of medical facilities in the province having implemented health insurance-covered ID cards for examinations and treatments, 34 smart medical kiosks have been put into use, helping to shorten waiting times and improve the quality of service for the people.
Along with digital transformation, cashless payments are becoming increasingly popular. In many traditional markets, vendors are proactively using QR codes, making transactions faster, more convenient, and safer.

Bringing digital conveniences closer to the people.
To bring digital conveniences closer to the people, community digital technology teams are playing a core role at the grassroots level. Following the motto "going to every street, knocking on every door, guiding every person," members directly assist people in installing applications, using online public services, making electronic payments, and accessing digital platforms.
Currently, the province has 1,393 community digital technology groups in 100% of hamlets and neighborhoods, with 6,856 members participating, supporting more than 358,000 households in accessing digital services. This is an important force contributing to narrowing the digital divide and bringing digital transformation closer to the community.
In addition, the province is piloting a digital model at the grassroots level in 20 communes and wards, helping people improve their digital skills and develop habits of using online public services, cashless payments, and essential digital applications.
Members of the Youth Union in An Xuyen ward and VietinBank guided residents on using QR codes for cashless payments.
Speaking at the launch ceremony for the digital transformation model in An Xuyen ward, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Minh Luan affirmed: "The people are identified as the center, the subject, and also the beneficiaries of digital transformation. Therefore, the implementation of this model not only aims to concretize the province's guidelines and policies but also to bring digital technology to every hamlet, neighborhood, and household, helping people access and use digital platforms conveniently, safely, and effectively."
After a year of consolidation, digital transformation in Ca Mau is being realized with concrete results. From digital models at the grassroots level and online public services to cashless payments and many other digital utilities, digital technology is increasingly present in daily life, creating a foundation for Ca Mau to build a digital government, develop a digital economy, and a comprehensive digital society.
