Lieutenant Colonel Le Quoc Cuong, Deputy Head of the Administrative Police Department for Social Order of the Provincial Police, said: “After the training courses, the grassroots officials, community digital technology teams, and forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level will become core personnel, directly going to each household and residential area to guide people in using the application and answer questions and resolve difficulties during implementation.”
The Police Department for Administrative Management of Social Order has posted a video promoting and guiding the use of the digital features of the VNeID application on its YouTube channel and Zalo Official Account.
In parallel with in-person training, the unit also developed and uploaded more than 120 documents and video clips guiding the installation and use of VNeID on digital platforms such as YouTube and Zalo OA. The content is designed to be concise, easy to understand, and suitable for many target groups, contributing to the dissemination of digital skills in the community.
At the grassroots level, many innovative models and approaches continue to be implemented. A typical example is the "Friday Afternoon at the Community Center" model of the Vinh Trach Ward Police. Every Friday afternoon, officers and soldiers directly visit residential areas, assisting with administrative procedures and guiding people on how to use VNeID using a hands-on approach. As a result, many elderly people have learned how to use the electronic documents integrated into the application.
Meanwhile, the Bac Lieu Ward Police coordinated with schools to organize awareness campaigns and guide students on using VNeID; at the same time, they intensified propaganda in residential areas and places with large crowds to raise awareness about digital transformation.
Police officers from Bac Lieu ward guide students from the College of Medical Sciences on how to use the features of the VNeID application.
In many localities, guidance on using VNeID is integrated directly into the administrative procedures reception and results delivery departments. Each time a citizen comes to transact, police officers assist them with logging in, using the features, resolving common errors, and answering questions related to their electronic identity account.
Thanks to its people-oriented approach, many citizens have become more proactive in using VNeID for their daily transactions.
Ms. Nguyen Hanh Nhan, from Tan Phong A hamlet, Tan Hung commune, shared: “Previously, I only knew how to open the application to view personal information, but I didn't know how to use many other functions. After receiving dedicated guidance from police officers, I now know how to log in, recover my password when I forget it, and use the documents integrated into the application. I find it very convenient because I don't have to carry as many documents as before.”
Police officers in communes and wards actively promote, encourage, guide, and support citizens in performing operations on the VNeID application.
In addition to assisting citizens in using the application, the police force is also taking advantage of the summer break to accelerate the processing of applications for electronic identification numbers for students. In many localities such as Cai Nuoc, Phuoc Long, Gia Rai, An Xuyen..., local police continue to accept applications even on weekends to create favorable conditions for parents and students.
As of early June 2026, the police force throughout the province had received and activated more than 89,000 electronic identification accounts; since the start of the peak period, more than 8,100 new accounts have been received.
Police officers in Cái Nước commune issue electronic identification cards to children and students every weekend.
Initial results demonstrate the effectiveness of the campaign to popularize digital skills in the community. Behind these figures lies the dedication of the police force at all levels, who are present daily at commune halls, one-stop service centers, and residential areas to guide people through each operation and answer their questions. Through these practical actions, VNeID is gradually becoming a familiar tool in daily life, contributing to building digital citizens and a digital society from the grassroots level.
