Don't Make This Silly Mistake When Using AI

Using AI to generate content is still common on platforms. However, some users forget to remove the AI's introduction, creating silly mistakes.

Artificial intelligence has become an important tool in people's daily learning and working activities. Especially in the field of content creation, up to 4 out of 5 marketing staff use AI to support their work, according to a survey by Wyzowl . Of which, 77% use AI to write content.

Most said AI has helped save time and produce content quickly. However, overuse of the technology has resulted in a consequence, with many articles still containing the same AI-generated introductory syntax in the content.

This has created a new trend on social networks. Many Internet users have shared methods to help "detect" websites and articles with text created by AI. Such content can appear one by one when entering a simple syntax into a traditional search engine.

When entering commands into any software, chatbots will often have introductory statements before their responses to create a sense of clarity and friendliness. Typical introductory statements include “Here is a detailed version/suggestion/analysis…”, “Here is what I found”, or “Let’s take a look”.

Some people, when writing content using AI, forgot to remove these lines. At that time, other users just need to put the original sentence in quotation marks, along with the syntax "site:*.vn" into traditional search engines like Google to have the tool display a series of websites under the .vn domain name that used AI to write content.

With this syntax, users have discovered that many TikTok accounts and fanpages on social networks have used AI carelessly. Some business owners and media managers have also conducted checks on their platforms. Notably, some reputable publishing units are also said to have forgotten to remove the introduction from chatbot.

Many users expressed their discontent, saying they were willing to skip over mechanical content. Hien Le said it reflected a lack of thoroughness in the work, as well as the products and services that the business wanted to sell.

Commenting on this case, Mr. Nguyen Loc, Head of Digital Marketing at Flexhouse VN, said that this is the result of automating the process with AI but not checking the results. This means that users only need to enter the command, then post the content written by AI without reviewing or editing it.

On the other hand, Mr. Hoa Dang, PMI 2025 Culture & Diversity Ambassador for Asia - Pacific , commented that this shows that AI has made a part of users lazy. In addition to the ability to optimize processes, replacing users with time-consuming manual tasks, over-reliance on AI also leads to many harmful effects.

A study by Dr. Sayed Ahmed, Associate Professor at the Institute of Business Administration (Pakistan), found that of 285 students using artificial intelligence, 68.9% showed laziness and 27.7% gradually lost decision-making skills. Another reason lies in the excessive trust that people have in AI. For example, a woman in Greece divorced her husband after 12 years of marriage, because ChatGPT said he was having an affair.

Making the right use of science and technology, especially artificial intelligence, is an indispensable skill in today's life. Along with that, users also need to develop the ability to think critically, and the habit of reviewing the content created by AI to ensure the quality and reputation of their brand.
