On May 12, 2026, Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio & Television reported on the fact that Provincial Road 294C, with a total length of 6.7 km, had been repaired, upgraded, and paved with asphalt a long time ago. However, due to prolonged use, the road surface has developed many large potholes and large depressions.

Large landslides have occurred along the road through Lan Thinh and Quat Du 1 villages (both in Phuc Hoa commune), causing numerous traffic accidents. Vehicles passing through this area have to slow down and swerve close to the sidewalk, which is very inconvenient and dangerous.
Provincial Road 294C is a vital transportation artery and also serves as a collection point for early-season lychees from Phuc Hoa and Tan Yen communes. Therefore, residents of Quat Du 1 and Lan Thinh villages have repeatedly had to bring their own crushed stone to repair the road, but this has not been done properly, resulting in repairs only for other sections to break down.
Following reports from Bac Ninh Newspaper and Radio & Television, instead of waiting for the Bac Ninh Road Maintenance Management Board to carry out repairs, the People's Committee of Phuc Hoa commune directed the relevant department to coordinate personnel and resources to complete the repairs on May 15th, 5 days earlier than the initial planned date, ensuring smooth traffic flow.

The repair and restoration of provincial road 294C not only ensures smooth traffic flow, protects the lives of road users, and helps people sell their agricultural products more easily, but also strengthens the people's trust in the local government.
However, the current repairs are only temporary solutions to address the urgent traffic problem during the agricultural harvest season. In the long term, to ensure sustainable traffic safety and create momentum for economic development, provincial road 294C needs to be surveyed by relevant authorities soon, with solutions for solid infrastructure and further investment in upgrading it.
Thus, Phuc Hoa, the "capital" of lychee production, now has a synchronized transportation infrastructure, helping farmers feel secure in their production and enhancing the brand value of local agricultural products.
