The EU Christmas Market, which has grown steadily after three lively editions since 2022, is set to return to Hanoi on December 14, shortly after its Ho Chi Minh City counterpart on December 6.

Hosted by the Delegation of the European Union (EU) to Vietnam, this year's market promises to recreate an authentic European holiday ambiance with diverse food and beverage stalls, craft and decoration booths, and a dedicated screening corner for children's animated films.
Inspired by festive traditions across Europe, where Christmas transforms city streets with twinkling lights, the aroma of baked treats, mulled wine and vibrant outdoor celebrations, the market aims to share the spirit of warmth, joy and community.
The Hanoi edition will take place from 10 AM to 9 PM on December 14 at the Embassy of the Czech Republic, 13 Chu Van An Street. Organizers plan an array of booths and interactive activities designed to engage families, young visitors and those curious about European culture.
Attendees will find gift booths offering accessories, handmade ornaments and crafts. Food and beverage stands will feature cookies, gelato, pizza, tiramisu, wine and hot tea.
Families can participate in games and craft workshops, while visitors can enjoy live music, DJ sessions, choirs and various artistic performances. Children will also have the chance to watch European animated films throughout the day.
Continuing its tradition of supporting the community, the 2025 market will donate part of its proceeds to Cap La Yeu Thuong, a long-running charity program, along with other philanthropic initiatives from the EU Alumni Network in Vietnam (EAN).
Established in 2015 by the Digital Content Production Center of Vietnam Television, Cap La Yeu Thuong connects donors with disadvantaged children nationally through sustained scholarships that help them stay in school and pursue better futures.
With these efforts, the EU Christmas Market 2025 aims to foster compassion and encourage community involvement, promoting a more caring and socially responsible society.
