This year's Champions League final is considered a classic clash between attacking and defensive football. PSG represents beautiful attacking football, while Arsenal is categorized as the "parking the bus" team.
Despite numerous experts praising Arsenal's scientific style of play, the vast majority of fans still express clear favorites or dislikes between PSG and the English team.
A UEFA survey revealed that nearly 70% of fans believe PSG would even win within 90 minutes. This is an extremely lopsided figure for a final that is considered evenly matched, given that both teams are the reigning national champions this season.
Many other football websites also conducted surveys among experts and journalists, and PSG consistently dominated the polls.
Six out of eight experts from Sports Mole – a massive football data system – chose PSG to win the championship, while only two out of eight chose the opposite answer.
Similarly, four out of five CBS Sport journalists believe that PSG will be the eventual winner of tonight's big match.
But on these two websites, computer data showed the opposite answer. While 80% of CBS Sport's experts predicted PSG would win, their computer data yielded a fairly balanced result.
According to CBS Sport data, Arsenal have a 37% chance of winning in 90 minutes, PSG have a 35% chance, and there is a 28% chance of a draw after 90 minutes.
Sports Mole's computer even gave a more skewed assessment, with a 41.5% chance of Arsenal winning in 90 minutes, compared to only a 35% chance for PSG.
The most likely scoreline to occur is a 1-1 draw after 90 minutes - with a 10.5% probability, followed by Arsenal winning 2-1 (8.7%).
