The CEO of Galaxy Studio stated that Galaxy Sala cinema aims for an "all-in-one" model, meeting all the needs for a premium cinematic experience.

Launching the upscale Galaxy Sala cinema model amidst an unpromising economic climate may seem like a bold decision, but Ms. Nguyen Thi Mai Hoa, CEO of Galaxy Studio, believes this is the opportune time.

"With over 20 years in the industry, we carefully considered the business and financial aspects before opening the new cinema complex. We spent nearly two years preparing, conducting numerous surveys and market research, and meticulously planning every detail that needed to be addressed," Ms. Mai Hoa explained.

The changing trends and entertainment behaviors have partly prompted businesses to elevate the cinematic experience at an affordable cost. Ms. Mai Hoa pointed out that many viewers are willing to pay higher prices to watch films in professional formats and experience something different. For example, previously, IMAX only accounted for 5-10% of total box office revenue, but by 2022-2023, this number had doubled or tripled.

The customer profile is gradually changing. According to Ms. Mai Hoa: "Gen Z is very individualistic and demands personalized experiences. Generation Alpha is even different. Audiences are now very closely exposed to regional and global cultures. We recognize this and are proactively changing and developing to meet the increasingly high demands for film viewing."

Specifically, at Galaxy Sala, the company aims to create a diverse and multi-dimensional cinematic world, meaning viewers can experience all services right within the cinema complex. With the message "Cine...More," the company predicts that this hybrid (multi-functional) cinema model will become a new entertainment destination, attracting a wide range of audiences.

Ms. Mai Hoa pointed out three key elements that helped Galaxy Sala win over discerning audiences: IMAX Laser screens for sharp images, vibrant sound, and a realistic feel in every detail; an exciting and diverse culinary experience right in the theater with two VIP styles: Boulevard Lounge and CineMunch; and themed screening rooms (Lagom, Laurus, Haatopia), offering a multi-dimensional emotional experience.

"More than just a movie theater, that's what we want to offer our audience," Ms. Mai Hoa emphasized. With the shift in consumer behavior, audiences are increasingly integrating technology into their lives – from payments and shopping to entertainment experiences. Furthermore, they prioritize locations that can fulfill multiple purposes in one place. Therefore, the hybrid movie theater model is necessary.

Accordingly, Galaxy Sala offers not just one, but many technologies and services, clearly demonstrating the concept that "entertainment is a means of connection."
