This demonstrates the quality of the integrated English program and the correct direction of the city's education sector in promoting the improvement of English proficiency and subjects taught in English. It also encourages students to take international certification exams as a necessary preparation for their future studies and careers."
An opportunity for students to develop their interests.
David Albon, Director of International Programs, Pearson Group
To achieve these results, Pearson highly values the expertise and dedication of its teaching staff, the sound investment in educational solutions from EMG Education, and most importantly, the commendable learning spirit of the students in the integrated English program.
At Pearson, we believe in the importance of qualifications and certifications. We understand the importance of achieving them. But sometimes I also worry that an overemphasis on qualifications might lead us to focus too much on studying just to pass exams – because we know that exams are just one part of the learning process.
Therefore, we always strive to incorporate opportunities into our curriculum for students to develop their particular interests; to explore topics beyond the scope of the exam requirements. I believe that they have seized these opportunities to develop their skills to the fullest, and their outstanding achievements today are proof of that.
