Despite the sweltering morning weather, people lined up neatly and solemnly from very early on, waiting to enter the Mausoleum. As early as 5:00 AM on May 19th, many convoys from various provinces and cities had already arrived in the Ngoc Ha street area. In a solemn and moving atmosphere, the people and international visitors successively entered the Mausoleum to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh .
The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, located in the heart of the historic Ba Dinh Square, is always well-maintained and renovated, clean and beautiful, and receives visitors with great care, reflecting the deep affection of the people for their beloved national leader.
Among the crowds paying their respects to President Ho Chi Minh were elderly people with gray hair, young children visiting the Mausoleum for the first time, and many who had traveled hundreds of kilometers to fulfill their wish to visit the President. Whether visiting many times or for the first time, all shared the same emotion, respect, and gratitude towards President Ho Chi Minh.
According to the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, on the morning of May 19th, nearly 7,000 visitors came to pay their respects to President Ho Chi Minh, including nearly 1,500 international visitors.
To ensure a thoughtful reception, officers and soldiers of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Command proactively coordinated closely with relevant forces, organizing services in a scientific and orderly manner, ensuring absolute security and safety. The high sense of responsibility and dedicated, civilized service style of the officers, staff, and soldiers on duty left a positive impression on the people and international friends.
On this occasion, the Command of the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum organized the free distribution of drinking water, bread, and milk to the people and international visitors paying their respects to President Ho Chi Minh. This is a regular activity maintained during major holidays and anniversaries at the Mausoleum.
