
Specifically, in addition to inheriting the higher support levels from the old regulations, two new beneficiary groups have been added, including: a 50% subsidy on contributions for healthcare workers and village midwives, and a 20% subsidy for elderly people aged 70 to under 75 who are registered as permanent residents in the area and do not yet have health insurance cards.
For other groups, the province maintains a 100% support level for people infected with HIV/AIDS; 70% for elderly people from agricultural, forestry, fishery, and salt-making households with average living standards or newly lifted-out-of-poverty households; 30% for near-poor households and ethnic minorities in areas no longer facing extreme difficulties; 20% for agricultural households with average living standards, along with a uniform 10% support level for all students.
With a total estimated budget of 92.6 billion VND for implementation in 2026.
