On the morning of August 23rd, nearly 150 golfers gathered at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon to compete in the VIP (Pro-Am) Tournament, the closing event of the 2025 Gia Lai National Golf Championship. According to journalist Phung Cong Suong, Editor-in-Chief of Tien Phong newspaper and co-head of the organizing committee, the VIP (Pro-Am) Tournament is a traditional event of the National Golf Championship, organized to celebrate the success of the tournament and to create a playing field that is not only sporting but also fosters friendship, exchange, and connection.

Under ideal weather conditions, the golfers enjoyed a wonderful experience on the coastal golf course, strolling on the velvety greens, breathing in the fresh air, and admiring the stunning natural scenery of golden sunshine, white sand, and blue sea. With the lingering memories of the high-stakes and dramatic race between Nguyen Tuan Anh and Truong Chi Quan still fresh in their minds, the golfers competed with great effort despite the challenging obstacles of FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon. Many impressive swings, excellent drives, and emotional putts were produced, alongside hearty laughter and camaraderie.

After five hours of competition, nearly 150 golfers completed the challenging 18 holes at FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, achieving impressive scores. With a score of 82 strokes, golfer Le Quy Duc won Best Gross amidst enthusiastic applause from the attendees. However, according to Mr. Do Thanh Viet, General Manager of FLC Golf Links Quy Nhon, the most wonderful experience was playing golf with friends and partners. This is precisely the spirit the tournament aimed for, where all participating golfers were winners.

The VIP (Pro-Am) Tournament is a traditional event celebrating the success of the National Golf Championship. This is the fourth season the tournament has been held, with increasing professionalism and prestige.
