Meet the 2 sisters who are Ambassadors of the Khanh Hoa People Speaking English program

After participating in club activities, going through competitions and winning high prizes, two sisters Le Tran Khanh Nhu (born in 2011) and Le Tran Nhu Bao (born in 2015, Vinh Hai ward, Nha Trang city) became ambassadors of the Khanh Hoa People Speak English program. The two girls actively introduced and promoted Khanh Hoa in English to foreign tourists and spread the spirit of learning foreign languages ​​to everyone.

Be bold and confident in communicating in English

While walking with their mother at Yen Phi Park (Nha Trang City), Nhu and Bao accidentally learned about the Khanh Hoa People Speak English program and participated in games at this activity. After that, both of them learned about the program and participated in activities at the Vinh Hai Youth Community English Club in June 2023. Every Thursday evening, from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., the children participated in activities with members of the club. Here, they were guided by volunteers to learn English on many different topics; participate in memory games; interact and chat with foreigners... Thereby, helping them gain more knowledge and English communication skills. In addition, every afternoon, the two children often go to the beach with their mother to chat with foreign tourists, helping to improve their communication skills. Như Bảo shared: “Previously, I mainly studied English at school and in online groups but rarely communicated. After participating in the club, I was bold enough to stand in front of a crowd and sing and interact in English when participating in the singing contest “Sing to Shine”. Thanks to that, I am more confident in communicating and boldly participating in other activities.”

Both sisters Nhu and Bao actively participated in the program's competitions such as: Golden Bell, Sing to Shine, Master English - Master your life ... and won high prizes. In 2024 and 2025, the two sisters competed and won the special prize of the Master English - Master your life competition, which was a trip to Quang Ninh province and Malaysia. Khanh Nhu shared: "Joining the club, every week I get to learn a different topic about science , food, animals, time ... with levels from easy to difficult. Through that, it helps me review the words I have learned and improve my vocabulary. To win high prizes, the two sisters tried to study, support each other to practice vocabulary, communicate, and improve their knowledge. The two sisters were able to travel abroad for the first time when they won the program's prize."

Actively promote the image of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa

After winning the program's high prize, the two sisters Nhu and Bao continued to volunteer to participate in promotional activities, introducing to foreign tourists the culture and traditions of Nha Trang - Khanh Hoa in particular and Vietnam in general. After that, both of them became ambassadors of the Khanh Hoa People Speak English program. Recently, in the series of activities of the 2025 Sea Culture - Tourism Festival , the two participated in introducing and guiding foreign tourists in English at 2-4 Square, booths, martial arts festivals, bird's nest festivals, etc.

“I am very happy to be an ambassador of the program to guide foreign tourists about the unique features of the festival, places to visit, and help them better understand the local culture. I hope that through my work, I will leave a good impression on tourists and when they return home, they will introduce the good things in Vietnam to their friends and relatives. Besides, I have made many new friends and improved my English communication skills,” Khanh Nhu confided. Nhu Bao shared: “I really like the program Khanh Hoa People Speak English. Thanks to the program, I am more confident when speaking English and have learned many interesting things about Khanh Hoa while being an ambassador of the program. I hope the program will last so that I and my friends will have more opportunities to participate and learn more English.”

During the process of participating and becoming ambassadors of the program, the two children received a lot of support and companionship from their families. Ms. Tran Khanh Ly - the mother of the two children - said: "Through participating in activities, my two children have made a lot of progress, especially in English communication. Therefore, grandparents and parents always accompany and encourage the two children to participate in clubs, competitions and become ambassadors of the program. Participating in the program, the children not only learn and play but also win high prizes. From shy children, up to now, the children have boldly used English to introduce and promote the culture, beauty and traditions of Khanh Hoa to foreign tourists, so I am very happy".
