DNVN - On June 11th, GELEX Group and FPT Group signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation to promote comprehensive digital transformation, enhance the business efficiency of both parties, and contribute to building the national economy.
GELEX andFPT are expected to cooperate in four areas, including: comprehensive digital transformation from the Group level to GELEX's member companies; deployment of telecommunications infrastructure for GELEX's real estate projects (residential, office, industrial parks); joint investment in data center projects; and cooperation in the semiconductor sector: building facilities to support research and development and jointly inviting major companies to Vietnam to research and develop in this field.
Representatives from FPT Group and GELEX Group signed a cooperation agreement.
This collaboration will help both sides maximize their potential, support each other's stronger development in the Vietnamese and international markets, open up new opportunities for promising sectors, and attract investment from global partners.
Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien, Chairman of GELEX Group, said, “Extensive digital transformation, turning data into fuel, is one of GELEX’s important strategies. GELEX is honored to become a partner with FPT - a Vietnamese technology group of international stature.”
Mr. Nguyen Trong Hien affirmed: “In 2023, the strategy of developing a partnership ecosystem with leading multinational corporations (both domestic and international) has initially yielded many positive results, such as cooperation with Frasers Property and Sembcorp Industries. GELEX will continue to promote this strategy in 2024 and subsequent years to enable the Group to participate in global value chains, expand and upgrade the product segment with higher added value for core areas, boost exports, and aim to become the leading investment group in Vietnam.”
Mr. Nguyen Van Khoa, General Director of FPT Group, expressed his hope that through this cooperation, the two companies would provide suitable products and services for each other's ecosystems. In particular, FPT and GELEX will share their corporate cultures and promote innovation through their respective core values. FPT will bring its experience and successful formulas, honed through major projects, to contribute to GELEX's important transformation and serve its goals.
