On the morning of September 30, at the intersection of DT.633, in Ngai An village, De Gi commune, Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee held the inauguration ceremony of the DT.633 bypass project, from Nui Ghenh to the coastal road DT.639.

This is a key traffic project, contributing to expanding development space, strengthening coastal connectivity and creating new momentum for the local socio-economy .

Speaking at the ceremony, comrade Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang, Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that the project not only marks the completion of a modern traffic route, but is also a vivid symbol of the achievements in construction and development of Gia Lai province in the new period.

This is a practical gift to welcome the Provincial Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Party Congress .

Vice Chairman of Gia Lai Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Tu Cong Hoang spoke at the ceremony.

The DT.633 bypass is 3.53km long, designed according to the standards of a level III plain road, with a design speed of 80km/h, a 20.5m wide roadbed, a 17.5m wide asphalt concrete road surface with 2 motor vehicle lanes and 2 mixed vehicle lanes. The total investment is 336 billion VND from the provincial budget.

Construction started in December 2022, the project has encountered many difficulties, especially in compensation, site clearance and resettlement . However, with the close direction of the Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, Provincial People's Committee; and close coordination of departments, branches and localities.

Especially with the consensus of the people, especially the households that had to relocate and give up land, along with the efforts of the investor, consultant and contractor, the project was completed on schedule, ensuring quality and safety.

The route plays a strategic role in connecting east-west traffic, linking DT.633 and DT.639 routes, meeting the needs of travel and freight transport, reducing traffic through De Gi commune, and opening up space for urban development , services and coastal tourism .

At the ceremony, the provincial leaders respectfully thanked the close leadership of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, especially comrade Ho Quoc Dung, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, who directly surveyed the field, had dialogues with the people, and directed the removal of obstacles so that the project could be completed on schedule. At the same time, they acknowledged the contributions of the people, departments, branches, and construction units throughout the implementation process.

Provincial leaders requested relevant units to continue to manage and maintain the project in accordance with regulations, exploit it effectively, and at the same time review and update the planning of related functional areas to maximize the potential of the route.

This will be an important premise for Gia Lai to realize the goal of becoming a fairly developed province, among the leading provinces in the central region, firmly entering the "new era - the era of rising up" of the nation.
