Speeding up the progress of the Truong Son Monument project phase 2

DNO - On the morning of September 30, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi inspected the actual progress of the Truong Son Monument project phase 2 in Thanh My commune.

According to the Quang Nam Province Construction Investment Project Management Board (old), the board has worked with the investment policy-making unit and relevant parties to review and implement investment preparation procedures; approve cost estimates and contractor selection plans.

The packages include: drafting, consulting on preparing and evaluating documents, preparing and reviewing feasibility study reports.

The contractor selection results are expected to be completed on October 5, 2025. Currently, the investor is making a list of the art council.

After reviewing, some points do not match the 1/500 planning approved in Decision No. 1936/QD-UBND of the People's Committee of Nam Giang District (old). The Management Board proposed the City People's Committee to update the basic design for implementation.

The project approval plan is no later than November 30, 2025, with milestones: budget approval (September 29), selection and signing of the contract (October 5), establishment of the art council (October 16), and approval of the outline (November 5).

Regarding the residential arrangement project in the Truong Son Dong area, by September 30, the resettlement area had completed leveling the ground and handed over the site to the people.

Compensation and site clearance work has reached 5.57 hectares, about 3,000 square meters are still being mobilized.

At the inspection, Vice Chairwoman of the City People's Committee Nguyen Thi Anh Thi acknowledged the efforts of the units and requested the completion of phase 1 and part of phase 2 before July 27, 2026, ensuring quality.

The Vice Chairman of the City People's Committee assigned the Department of Construction to coordinate with the Project Management Board to review and ensure compliance with legal regulations and progress.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism urgently completes the list of art councils. Relevant agencies need to speed up the progress and complete the items so that the city can approve the project by November 30, 2025.
