Bac Ninh: Level I alert issued on Thuong River.

BAC NINH - At 2:20 AM on September 30th, the Head of the Bac Ninh Provincial Civil Defense Command issued a telegram to the Departments of Construction, Industry and Trade, and Health; the Civil Defense Commands of the communes of Lang Giang, Kep, My Thai, Tan Dinh, and Tien Luc; and the Bac Song Thuong Irrigation Works Exploitation One-Member Limited Liability Company regarding the issuance of Alert Level 1 on the Thuong River at the Cau Son Hydrological Station.

The dispatch stated: At 1:50 AM on September 30, 2025, the water level on the Thuong River at the Cau Son hydrological station was above alarm level I (corresponding to a water level of ≥14.00m).

The Provincial Civil Defense Command issued alert number 1 on the Thuong River at the Cau Son Hydrological Station and requested the Disaster Prevention and Search and Rescue Commands of the named communes to immediately organize duty shifts, patrols, and guard duties along both sides of the river; detect and proactively handle and reinforce landslide areas affecting the safety of residential areas and structures along the river.

Inform the public and owners of waterway transport vessels on the river to proactively take preventive measures and ensure the safety of people and property. Maintain a strict 24/7 duty roster, regularly updating information and promptly reporting to the Provincial Civil Defense Command (the standing agency of the Provincial Military Command) and the Department of Agriculture and Environment (through the Irrigation Sub-Department) for guidance and direction.
