Thai jackfruit prices have increased slightly.

(HG) - In recent days, top-grade Thai jackfruit, purchased directly from orchards by traders, has been priced from 41,000-43,000 VND/kg, large cream jackfruit at 40,000 VND/kg, small cream jackfruit from 29,000 VND/kg, large fallen jackfruit at 38,000 VND/kg, small fallen jackfruit at 17,000 VND/kg, rejected jackfruit at 11,000 VND/kg, and market jackfruit at around 8,000 VND/kg. These prices have increased by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg compared to last week.

Thai jackfruit prices are currently high, but supply is limited.

According to farmers, the number of jackfruit ready for harvest is currently very low, resulting in a limited supply. Traders are also contacting them frequently, even visiting the orchards to inspect and harvest the jackfruit when it reaches maturity. Although farmers are using techniques to stagger the harvest, it will take several more months before the supply becomes abundant again. Farmers hope that these jackfruit prices will remain stable until the end of the year to provide them with additional income.
