Thai jackfruit prices increase slightly

(HG) - In recent days, the best Thai jackfruit has been purchased by traders at the garden at a price of 41,000-43,000 VND/kg, large cream jackfruit is 40,000 VND/kg, small cream jackfruit is 29,000 VND/kg, large fallen jackfruit is 38,000 VND/kg, small fallen jackfruit is 17,000 VND/kg, floating jackfruit is 11,000 VND/kg, market jackfruit is about 8,000 VND/kg. This price has increased by 1,000-2,000 VND/kg compared to last week.

Thai jackfruit prices are high, but supply is limited.

According to gardeners, the number of jackfruits ready for harvest is very small at this time, so the supply is low. Traders are also in regular contact, even coming to the garden to see and harvest when the jackfruit is ripe. Although gardeners are processing the fruit in separate seasons, it will take a few more months for the supply to be abundant again. Gardeners expect this jackfruit price to remain until the end of the year so that people can have an additional source of income.
