At 9 AM, Saigon Jewelry Company, DOJI Group, and Phu Quy simultaneously listed the price of SJC gold bars at 131-136 million VND/ounce for buying and selling, a decrease of 2.8 million VND/ounce compared to yesterday morning.
The price of gold rings also saw a sharp decline. Accordingly, Phu Quy and DOJI gold rings are priced at 131-136 million VND/ounce; SJC gold rings at 130.9 - 135.9 million VND/ounce; Bao Tin Minh Chau gold rings at 132 - 137.2 million VND/ounce…

At the same time, the world gold price was listed at $4,091 per ounce, down $91 compared to yesterday morning, equivalent to about 130 million VND per tael. Thus, the domestic gold price is only about 6 million VND per tael higher than the world price.
Gold prices have been falling sharply for nearly two weeks and show no signs of stopping. Many forecasts suggest that world gold prices will continue their sharp decline in the near future and may fall below the $4,000/ounce mark. Consequently, domestic gold prices could potentially drop below 130 million VND/ounce.
On the foreign exchange market, the central exchange rate announced by the State Bank of Vietnam remained unchanged from the previous session at 25,153 VND/USD. At Vietcombank , the USD price was listed at 26,130 - 26,410 VND/USD (buying - selling).
The US dollar exchange rate on the free market is commonly around 26,340 - 26,360 VND/USD, lower than the selling rate at commercial banks.
