The 2nd Cao Bang Provincial Journalism Award selected 42 winning entries.

At the meeting, council members discussed and provided feedback on the draft report on the implementation and results of the 2nd Cao Bang Provincial Journalism Award; the plan for awarding the 2nd Provincial Journalism Award; and the plan for launching the 3rd Provincial Journalism Award.

Specifically, the focus was on the following issues: attracting the participation of press agencies inside and outside the province, especially the City and district Cultural and Communication Centers; agreeing on the number of award-winning works; solutions to improve the quality of works participating in the 3rd Cao Bang Provincial Journalism Award; and preparations for the program commemorating the 99th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism Day and the awarding of the 2nd Provincial Journalism Award…

For the 2nd Provincial Journalism Awards, the Provincial Journalists Association – the permanent organizing body of the awards – received 86 entries across various media categories: print, online, radio, television, and photojournalism. After the preliminary judging round, 74 entries advanced to the final round. The Final Judging Panel reviewed the entries and recommended that the Provincial Journalism Awards Council unanimously present 42 entries to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee for awarding. These included 2 A prizes, 8 B prizes, 14 C prizes, and 18 consolation prizes across the 5 media categories.

Comrade Trinh Truong Huy, Provincial Party Committee member, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial Journalism Award Council, requested that the Cao Bang Provincial Journalists Association incorporate the contributions of the council members to finalize the draft plans for organizing a meeting to commemorate the 99th anniversary of Vietnam's Revolutionary Journalism Day and awarding the 2nd Provincial Journalism Award; and the draft plan for launching the 3rd Provincial Journalism Award.

We request that media agencies strengthen their publicity efforts regarding the award to attract the attention of a large number of journalists and contributors inside and outside the province. We also suggest organizing training and professional development courses for reporters, media officials, and staff in districts and cities, contributing to improving the quality and quantity of entries in the 3rd Provincial Journalism Award.
