In his opening remarks at the session, on behalf of the leaders of the National Assembly Office and the Organizing Committee of the Dien Hong Award, the Secretary General of the National Assembly and Head of the National Assembly Office, Le Quang Tung, expressed his gratitude to the members of the Preliminary and Final Judging Panels of the Dien Hong Award for their responsible and diligent work in selecting high-quality, exemplary works worthy of advancing to the Final Round. He also hoped that the members of the Final Judging Panel would continue to uphold their sense of responsibility, work impartially and objectively, and select truly outstanding works to award the 3rd Dien Hong Award in 2025.

According to Mr. Pham Manh Hung, the highlight of the third Dien Hong Award is the richness and diversity of entries, with an increase in both quantity and quality, especially in the categories of online journalism, radio, television, and print media.

The works closely reflected the pulse of life, were diverse in subject matter and field, and strongly reflected the new priorities of the Politburo, the Central Committee of the 13th Party Congress, and General Secretary To Lam. In particular, they addressed the issues facing the country and the entire political system in preparing the necessary strength and determination to lead the nation into a new era.

The third round of the Hong Lan competition awarded 8 A prizes, 15 B prizes, and 20 C prizes (Figure 3).

The judging panel evaluates and comments on the entries submitted for the award.

"Many works vividly reflect the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils at all levels, focusing on the three key functions of the National Assembly: legislation, supreme supervision, and decision-making on important national issues. Some topics explored include reforming legislative thinking, reforming institutions, and improving the effectiveness of the National Assembly, People's Councils at all levels, and elected representatives...", Mr. Pham Manh Hung shared.

Many works, meticulously produced over extended periods and utilizing multimedia and graphics, demonstrate the professionalism of modern journalism and the serious, responsible work of the authors and groups of authors.

The third round of the competition awarded 8 A prizes, 15 B prizes, and 20 C prizes (Figure 4).

The judging panel for the 3rd Dien Hong Award - 2025 voted to evaluate the works that reached the final round.

The third Dien Hong Awards saw active participation from central and local press agencies; the number of local press agencies increased compared to the previous season; and the quality of works narrowed significantly between central and local levels in television, online, and print media. This demonstrates the interest of the press in particular, and public opinion in general, in the activities of the National Assembly and People's Councils.

The works selected for the final judging round ensure a balance across regions, fields, central and local levels, diversity in themes, and high quality in content, message, and form of expression.
