Sharp decline in Thailand

On the Tokyo Commodity Exchange (TOCOM), RSS3 rubber prices remained relatively stable across all contract periods. Specifically, the April 2025 contract stood at 341 yen/kg, the May and June contracts fluctuated around 341–342 yen/kg, while the July and August contracts recorded 344.10 yen/kg.

In Thailand, the rubber market experienced a sharp decline. The price of the April futures contract fell from 75.6 baht/kg to 72.47 baht/kg, a decrease of 3.13 baht/kg in a single day.

In the Shanghai market, natural rubber prices on the SHFE exchange remained largely unchanged. The April 2025 contract held at 16,640 yuan/kg, while the May to August contracts rose slightly to between 16,680 and 16,815 yuan/kg.

In Singapore, TSR20 rubber prices on the SGX exchange recorded a uniform increase across all maturities. The May 2025 contract rose from 164 to 168.20 cents/kg. Contracts from June to September also increased to approximately 168.8 – 169.4 cents/kg.

At Mang Yang Rubber Company, the current purchase price for grade 1 liquid latex is 447 VND/TSC/kg. Grade 2 liquid latex is purchased at 443 VND/TSC/kg. Grade 1 mixed coagulated latex is traded at 461 VND/DRC/kg, while grade 2 is priced lower at 406 VND/DRC/kg.

Phu Rieng Rubber Company maintains the price of liquid latex at 440 VND/TSC/kg and the price of mixed latex at 400 VND/DRC/kg. This is a stable price compared to before, reflecting little fluctuation in the company's purchasing activities.

At Ba Ria Rubber Company, the price of latex is divided according to the TSC (Total Strength) level. Specifically, latex with a TSC level of 30 or higher is purchased at 452 VND/kg. A price of 447 VND/kg applies to latex with a TSC level from 25 to under 30. For latex with a TSC level from 20 to under 25, the purchase price is 442 VND/kg.

For mixed latex, the price also varies according to the DRC (Density-Resistant) level. Cup latex or coagulated latex with a DRC of 50% or higher is purchased at 18,000 VND/kg. If the DRC is between 45-50%, the price is 16,700 VND/kg. Latex with a DRC of 35-45% is purchased at 13,500 VND/kg.

Binh Long Rubber Company continues to maintain the same prices as in previous days. The purchase price of liquid latex ranges from 386 to 396 VND/TSC/kg. Mixed latex with a DRC of 60% is purchased at 14,000 VND/kg. The relatively stable prices indicate that the market here is quite stable at the moment.
