Bac Ninh's education sector makes breakthroughs in quality.

From mass education to specialized education, from school administration to digital transformation and the application of artificial intelligence, Bac Ninh's education sector continues to make a strong mark on the national education map with outstanding, tangible, and sustainable results.

The 2018 General Education Program goes into greater depth.

Recognizing the 2018 General Education Program as the core foundation for improving the overall quality of education, the Department of Education and Training of Bac Ninh province has focused on directing educational institutions to implement it seriously, synchronously, but flexibly, in accordance with the practical conditions of each locality and each school.

100% of secondary schools in Bac Ninh province have proactively developed school education plans, subject teaching plans, educational activities, and lesson plans in a scientific and systematic manner. The planning process is based on the principles of ensuring legality, scientific rigor, and pedagogical soundness, while also promoting the autonomy and creativity of the teaching staff. The content of the plans focuses on achieving the goals of the 2018 General Education Program, without creating pressure or overload for teachers and students.

A notable new feature is that the entire process of reviewing educational plans and lesson plans is now conducted on a digital platform, contributing to improved management efficiency, reduced administrative procedures, and increased transparency. Schools have scientifically calculated the time required to implement the academic year program, ensuring that all learning objectives for each grade level are fully met on schedule.

Alongside this, innovative teaching methods have been strongly implemented. Teachers are given the opportunity to organize diverse and enriching educational activities, enhancing experiential learning and practice, developing students' qualities and competencies, thereby contributing to improving the overall quality of education.

Bac Ninh ranks among the top provinces nationwide in terms of educational quality.

The 2025 high school graduation exam further affirmed the position of Bac Ninh's education system, with the province's average score reaching 6.30, ranking 9th nationwide. Bac Ninh province had 9 out of 12 subjects in the national top 10, with Biology ranking first; many other subjects such as History, Mathematics, Chemistry, Technology, Physics, Geography, and English also ranked highly.

In particular, Bac Ninh made a strong impression in traditional exam subjects. The average score for subject group B led the country; subject groups A and A1 ranked 9th. The number of candidates achieving over 26.5 points in all subjects was among the top in the country.

Many students from Bac Ninh province have excelled and achieved high rankings nationwide, including one top scorer in Group A with a perfect score of 30.0; two runners-up in Group A; and many students who ranked third nationwide in Groups A and B. This achievement further affirms the solid and consistent quality of mass education in Bac Ninh province.

In the field of advanced education, the national excellent student selection exam for the 2024-2025 school year recorded outstanding achievements with 206 students from the province participating in 12 subjects, winning 180 awards, including 17 first prizes – ranking second nationwide in terms of the number of awards.

Notably, Bac Ninh boasts four national top scorers in Physics, History, Geography, and English; and three national runners-up in Chemistry, History, and Chinese. This is clear evidence of the province's effectiveness in identifying and nurturing talented students.

On the international stage, Bac Ninh continues to make a strong impression with 17 students selected to participate in regional and international Olympic teams. As a result, Bac Ninh students brought home 1 Gold Medal at the Asian Physics Olympiad; 1 Gold Medal and 1 Certificate of Merit at the European Physics Olympiad; 1 Gold Medal at the International Chemistry Olympiad; 1 Silver Medal at the International Physics Olympiad; and 1 Bronze Medal at the International Mathematics Olympiad. With 6 students winning awards, Bac Ninh ranks first nationwide in regional and international Olympic achievements for the 2024-2025 academic year.

Leveraging education to elevate its level.

In implementing Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW of the Politburo on breakthroughs in science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation, the Bac Ninh Department of Education and Training has proactively developed plans and budget estimates for science, technology, and digital transformation; perfected institutions, and consolidated documents serving the construction of e-government and digital government throughout the entire sector.

Bac Ninh's education sector is one of the leading units in applying artificial intelligence to teaching and learning. The Bac Ninh Provincial Department of Education and Training has coordinated the organization of AI application training for 100% of management staff and teachers at all levels. In particular, the project on applying AI to build an adaptive learning system in mathematics teaching has been approved by the Provincial People's Committee, and will be piloted from the 2025-2026 school year, expanding to the entire province from the 2026-2027 school year.

In addition, the document management system and education sector database are maintained and operated effectively, seamlessly connected with the Ministry of Education and Training's system, contributing to a reduction of over 50% in processing time and gradually forming a modern, transparent, and efficient education governance system.
