Vocational education in the digital age

To date, all of Lao Cai College's teaching staff have met the standards for applying information technology in teaching. They have mastered digital tools such as CcsTrainPro training management software to evaluate learning outcomes, as well as specialized software such as Acsoft, Photoshop, Corel Draw, Sibelius... In addition, online platforms such as Zoom and Google Meet are also widely used in teaching and organizing conferences. Notably, in 2024, the school organized online training courses on digital transformation, attracting 190 staff and teachers to participate. This shows the initiative in improving the digital technology capacity of the teaching staff.

Along with improving the teaching capacity of the teaching staff, Lao Cai College also focuses on innovating the training program towards digitalization. Current training programs have been updated according to basic information technology standards, especially for the Information Technology and Applied Information Technology majors, contents such as IoT, AI, and big data analysis have been integrated. Although most programs have electronic lectures, they are only at a basic level. In 2024, the school will deploy the construction of complete electronic lectures to meet the self-study needs of students. In addition, the organization of online courses on digital transformation on the Atingi and congdanso.edu.vn platforms has attracted 196 students to participate, demonstrating quick adaptation to the new training model.

Not only innovating the curriculum, the school also focuses on investing in digital infrastructure to ensure the best learning and teaching conditions. The Internet network system, including Wifi, has covered the entire school, from lecture halls, practice workshops to dormitories. Along with that, the training management software CcsTrainPro has also been upgraded, helping to synchronize learning management data, test and evaluate student results. In particular, 100% of the training program has been digitized, with more than 1,500 textbooks updated on the digital library, providing rich learning resources for lecturers and students. In addition, the digital learning materials warehouse on the Vietbiblio platform makes accessing and exploiting documents more convenient.

In addition to digitizing training programs and learning resources, the school also applies digital technology in management and operations, helping to optimize operational efficiency. Training management at the school has been comprehensively digitized through software such as CcsTrain, CcsTrainPro, helping to track student information, teaching plans, timetables, attendance, scholarships and graduation. The timetable system is also directly linked to the school's electronic information page for easy reference by lecturers and students. In addition, the school has deployed an electronic document system, digitized all teaching records and applied financial and asset management software such as DC Soft, tax declaration software, electronic invoices... to help improve operational efficiency and save resources.
