"A place to return to - A place of comfort"

This charitable project was launched to mark the 2nd anniversary of the Cactus House group and the 1st anniversary of the community of fans of this music group being officially named Safe Zone.

Sharing her thoughts on the project's idea, Phan My Linh, representing the team, said: "What motivated the members to embark on this plan was the desire to transform the spirit of Safe Zone – 'Safe, Gentle, and Strong' – into practical actions aimed at those who need protection and support after trauma."

The living room was renovated into a warm and inviting space.

One of the project's core activities is the "Homecoming" program, focusing on renovating and refreshing the living space for mothers and babies at the Center (20 Thuy Khue Street, Hanoi ). According to the plan, in May, the team will begin redecorating the common room called the "Safe Zone"; the next phase is expected to be implemented in July with the addition of furniture and necessary living items. This space is expected to become a warm and safe haven where women and children can better recover physically and mentally during their temporary stay.

Alongside the renovation of living spaces, the project also implemented the "Touching Peace" initiative to support the center's communication efforts. Information about support, counseling, and victim protection services was widely disseminated through newspapers and social media, helping many people find reliable support when needed. Bringing information closer to the community also contributed to raising social awareness about gender-based violence.

The project also organized a series of workshops called "A Place of Comfort," delving into solutions for inner healing. These in-depth sessions aimed to raise awareness and remove feelings of shame in victims through topics such as identifying psychological manipulation, self-love and self-respect, learning to listen, share, and control emotions when interacting with the community.

Representatives from the Social Assistance Center - Peaceful Home stated that the participation of youth communities in activities aimed at women and children has contributed to spreading messages of love, safety, and protection for vulnerable groups in a more intimate and humane way.

Spreading humanitarian values

In recent years, many fan communities have expanded beyond simply supporting their idols' artistic endeavors or attending concerts, venturing into social and charitable projects. Crowdfunding, supporting disadvantaged individuals, environmental protection, and partnering with social organizations are becoming preferred choices for fans seeking to promote their idols' image.

One of the reasons for this trend stems from the influence of artists on the public. When artists participate in social activities or demonstrate responsibility to the community, fans tend to follow suit with concrete actions. In the case of the Safe Zone community, the inspiration came from the charitable activities that the artists of the Cactus House had previously undertaken. Artists Thanh Duy, Thien Minh, Bui Cong Nam, and Duy Khanh not only participated in numerous community fundraising programs but also donated the revenue from some of their merchandise to social funds.

Representatives from the Social Assistance Center - Peaceful Home stated that Safe Zone's partnership with the center demonstrates that love for idols can absolutely become a springboard for kind values, helping society to nurture young lives and those in need of support.

The Social Assistance Center - Peaceful Home is currently a unit under the Office of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, operating with three main components: a system of safe temporary shelters in Hanoi and Can Tho , a counseling room at 20 Thuy Khue (Hanoi), and an emergency support hotline 1900 96 96 80 operating 24/7. It provides free support services for women and children who have experienced domestic violence, sexual abuse, or are victims of human trafficking returning home.
