The models for preventing and combating domestic violence, maintained after the establishment of the two-tiered government system, have contributed to stable economic and social development, improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. The core activities of the domestic violence prevention and control model are the establishment of sustainable family development clubs and domestic violence prevention groups.
Before July 2025, the entire province will have 126 models for preventing and combating domestic violence; 301 clubs for preventing and combating domestic violence (also known as sustainable family development clubs); 508 groups for preventing and combating domestic violence and 1,025 trusted addresses in the community; 250 hotlines serving gender affairs, family affairs and domestic violence prevention and combat; and 1 provincial-level center (Sunshine House).
From July 2025 to the present, the province has 78 models for preventing and combating domestic violence, 158 sustainable development clubs, 261 domestic violence prevention and control groups, 639 community-based trusted addresses, and 109 hotlines. These models focus on disseminating and educating the public about laws on preventing and combating domestic violence, gender equality, and protecting and caring for children, contributing to raising awareness and changing community behavior.
Since its establishment, the Women's Union of Ky Thuong commune has had 20 branches with 1,090 members participating in activities. To improve the effectiveness of preventing and combating domestic violence, the Union has built and maintained many practical models such as the Mother-in-law - Daughter-in-law Club, the Good Parenting Club, the Core Branch Club on Law, and the Community Communication Team; while also integrating propaganda content into branch meetings.
Each club, based on a model, has over 20 core members who regularly disseminate knowledge about gender equality, building happy families, and preventing and combating domestic violence. When they detect or receive information about families experiencing conflict, members coordinate with relevant organizations or directly meet with the members to understand their concerns and aspirations, providing timely advice, mediation, and support.
Ms. Pham Thi The, Chairwoman of the Women's Union of Ky Thuong commune, said: "Through these models, women members are equipped with more knowledge and skills in family behavior, contributing to reducing domestic violence incidents at the grassroots level."

In Dam Ha commune, the prevention and control of domestic violence is implemented through many practical models suitable to the local situation. Notable examples include the "Young Family, Digital Responsibility, Green" model; the "Trusted Address" model; the "Digital Branch - Safety for Women and Children" model; and the "Building Happy Families" club. Through these models, women members and residents are equipped with knowledge of the law, skills in family behavior, gender equality, and the prevention and control of domestic violence.
Maintaining and expanding models for preventing and combating domestic violence has contributed to raising awareness and responsibility among individuals, families, and communities in building a safe and healthy living environment. With the coordinated efforts of all levels, sectors, localities, and mass organizations, the work of preventing and combating domestic violence in the province is increasingly achieving practical results, contributing to building happy homes, prosperous, progressive, and civilized families, and creating a solid foundation for the sustainable development of society.
