A very encouraging sign for this region is that in the first six months of 2025, the entire province recorded 1,725 newly registered businesses, reaching 57.5% of the annual plan and increasing by 12.3% compared to the same period in 2024. Even more encouraging is that the number of newly established businesses is not limited to a few sectors or trending sectors, but spans many industries. According to statistics, 17 out of 17 industries saw the establishment of new businesses.

This positive figure not only reflects the gradual unlocking of internal economic drivers and the increased confidence of the business community in the prospects for economic recovery and development, but it also clearly shows that this is the inevitable result of the increasingly effective issuance and implementation of policies. Especially recently, the Politburo issued Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW "On the Development of the Private Economy" - a crucial resolution among the four breakthrough resolutions identified as the "Four Pillars" leading the country into a new era. In addition, since the beginning of the year, Thanh Hoa province has made many efforts to remove difficulties for businesses, especially regarding legal procedures related to land, capital, and markets.

For private enterprises to continue playing a pioneering role, a truly open, transparent institutional and policy system and investment and business environment are essential, with businesses at the center of service. The business community in the province expresses satisfaction and trust, but also has high expectations for even better attention, especially through institutionalized policies.

Commenting on the Draft Political Report to be presented at the 20th Congress of the Thanh Hoa Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, Chairman of the Provincial Business Association Cao Tien Doan suggested adding several solutions focused on creating a transparent investment and business environment to promote favorable investment attraction, such as: More decisively reviewing and proposing amendments or repeal of overlapping legal regulations and sub-legal documents, ensuring consistency with the spirit of Resolution No. 68-NQ/TW. Along with that, building a transparent monitoring mechanism in inspection and auditing work to avoid hindering production and business activities, so that businesses can confidently invest long-term. Adding breakthrough solutions to eliminate the fear of making mistakes in the performance of official duties. The province needs to encourage a spirit of daring to think, daring to act, and daring to take responsibility among cadres and civil servants; and at the same time, establishing a system for evaluating cadres linked to the level of satisfaction of businesses and citizens.

The number of newly established businesses has ignited confidence, but it also highlights the need to maintain the "fire" of ambition to get rich and contribute so that these businesses, after establishment, will develop further and wider, contributing to the realization of the prosperity aspirations of Thanh Hoa province.
