With the attention of all levels and sectors, artisans and ĐCTT clubs in the community have been persistently contributing to keeping the fire burning for this traditional art form rich in identity.
After tiring working hours, in his spare time, Mr. Huynh Van Ngoan (Chau Thoi commune) gathers his friends, those who share the same passion for ĐCTT, to humming a few tunes. For him, those are relaxing moments, helping to dispel all the hardships and worries of everyday life.

The endless passion for the ups and downs of the sounds of the Dan Kim and Dan Bau combined with sweet lyrics has permeated Mr. Ngoan's heart since his youth. Therefore, when he had the opportunity to learn the instrument, he tried his best to learn and diligently cultivate it throughout his youth to now become a famous musician.
Besides gathering to sing and dance to satisfy his passion, Mr. Ngoan and some friends also founded the Huynh Ngoan ĐCTT Club (with him as Chairman), gathering people who love this traditional art to practice and teach, with the desire to preserve and develop the ĐCTT movement in the locality.

Mr. Huynh Van Ngoan’s students are of many different ages: middle-aged, young, and even children. Despite differences in age, gender, and occupation, they all share a passion for ĐCTT. Therefore, despite being busy with work, everyone still takes advantage of their free time to share the music and songs together.
After more than 18 years of teaching music to generations of students, Mr. Huynh Van Ngoan said: “ I teach because I want to preserve the homeland's melodies for future generations; and my students want to spread those melodies further. It is this unity and passion that keeps us together, maintaining and developing the folk music movement in the commune.”

“I have known Mr. Ngoan for a long time, but only recently had the opportunity to study with him. Because I work far away, I only come back every few months to practice singing with him a couple of times. I have been attached to the Huynh Ngoan DCT Club for more than 3 years now, although not regularly, I still love this common home very much. The melody of my homeland always follows me when I am away from home, whenever I am sad, I hum a few lines of the song, my heart feels warm, my homeland feels so close”, Ms. Bich Ngoan (Chau Thoi commune) expressed.
Mr. Nguyen Van Tieu, a member of Huynh Ngoan ĐCTT Club, proudly said: “During the free time, my brothers and I go to many places to perform music, not only to earn extra income to maintain the club, but also to spread the melodies of our homeland everywhere, and to convey the love of ĐCTT to many people. I am very proud to have contributed a small part to the preservation and development of ĐCTT art”.

ĐCTT art is the pride of the people of the South in general, and Ca Mau in particular. This type of music carries the breath of river silt and evokes many emotions. Every time the melody sounds, the listener feels more love, nostalgia, and affection for their homeland. It is thanks to clubs and "fire keepers" like Mr. Huynh Van Ngoan that ĐCTT is always maintained and developed in the community, contributing to the preservation of the value of intangible cultural heritage representing humanity over time.
