Not only are they at the forefront of volunteer movements, the youth of Nhựt Tảo commune also focus on educating the younger generation about revolutionary traditions through many creative and practical methods. A notable example is the "Following the History of My Homeland" program organized at the Vàm Nhựt Tảo Historical Site, attracting over 40 youth members and students. Here, the children learn about the life, career, and glorious achievements of the national hero Nguyễn Trung Trực, associated with the heroic land of Nhựt Tảo.

The vividly presented historical stories helped the children understand more about the indomitable fighting tradition of their ancestors, fostering patriotism, national pride, and a sense of responsibility towards their homeland. A highlight of the program was the "Golden Bell" quiz, featuring questions about national history, local history, and the life of national hero Nguyen Trung Truc. The lively format made history more accessible and relatable to children. In addition, the Youth Union of the commune organized a visit and incense offering at the Tan Tru Martyrs' Cemetery in Chau Thanh, contributing to the education of revolutionary traditions and the principle of "drinking water, remembering the source" for its members and young people.
According to Tran Minh Thien, Secretary of the Youth Union of Nhut Tao commune, traditional education activities are always given attention and innovated in content and form to create appeal for young people. Through practical experience activities, local youth are nurtured with life ideals, patriotism, and responsibility towards the community.
These meaningful activities are contributing to nurturing a generation of young people in Nhut Tao who are rich in knowledge, full of national pride, and ready to follow in the footsteps of their ancestors to build an increasingly civilized, prosperous, and beautiful homeland.
