Unlike commercial credit channels, the Farmers' Support Fund offers loans with simple procedures and preferential interest rates, suitable for farmer members in mountainous areas. As a result, farmer members have boldly changed their production mindset, shifting from fragmented to concentrated production, leading to greater efficiency.

For example, in 2023, the Farmers' Association of Van Chan commune facilitated loans of 50 million VND/household from the Farmers' Support Fund for 10 households in Thac Hoa village to plant lacquer trees (a type of industrial tree for resin extraction, with resin selling for 200,000 - 210,000 VND/kg). After more than two years of project implementation, the households have planted 20 hectares of lacquer trees and have begun harvesting resin.
Mr. Trieu Van Mong, one of the members participating in the lacquer tree planting project, shared: "Previously, my family only had 2 hectares of lacquer trees. After receiving a loan, my family had more resources to invest and expand the area, and now it has developed to 4 hectares, earning over 500 million VND annually from selling lacquer resin."

Besides the lacquer tree planting project, the Farmers' Association of the commune also disbursed funds from the Farmers' Support Fund for one project raising breeding buffaloes and cows, supporting three households with loans of 40 million VND/household; and two cinnamon planting projects, with eight households participating, with loans ranging from 30 to 37 million VND/household in Tap Lang village...

Most borrowers used the loans for their intended purpose, and many have developed their production and become well-off, earning between 100 and 500 million VND per household per year.
The Farmers Support Fund is one of the practical loan programs that helps farmer members in the commune build models based on group household projects with the same goal of economic development, gradually striving to become wealthy and sustainably reduce poverty, opening up new opportunities for the development of collective economic models in the locality.
Loans from the Farmers' Support Fund have further motivated farmers in Van Chan commune to confidently take control of their lives. Each successful model is not only the story of one family, but also a testament to the effectiveness of the policy, and an inspiration for other farming households to continue writing their own stories of transformation on their homeland.
