Kieu Trinh reveals hidden aspects of her life.

This is a rare occasion where actress Kieu Trinh shared details about her private life, revealing many hidden aspects. She disclosed that she was devastated after separating from her first husband, her second marriage was unsuccessful, and her current peaceful life with her father and three children.

After enduring many hardships in her life, actress Kieu Trinh has chosen a peaceful and tranquil life with her elderly father and children.

Actress Kieu Trinh (born in 1976) is known for her roles in "The Buffalo's Season," "Bi, Don't Be Afraid," "Song Lang," etc. Kieu Trinh revealed that she entered the acting profession as a seamstress and had never received formal acting training.

"I feel like I'm the luckiest person in the profession, because I'm just a country seamstress with no formal education, yet I got a role in a famous film. The film 'The Buffalo's Summer' was a life-changing event for me and my whole family," said Kieu Trinh.

Despite becoming one of the most highly regarded actresses for her acting abilities, she rarely appeared on screen for a long period. Sharing about this time, actress Kieu Trinh said it was a difficult time in her life, a time when she was plunged into tragedy due to repeated domestic violence.

"My love life at that time was like hell on earth. I was so scared, I hid from life and was afraid to meet that person. My mental and physical health were affected, and I became very ill, but I didn't tell anyone," Kiều Trinh said sadly.

She burst into tears because of the hardships she had gone through.

Her love life didn't go as expected, and Kieu Trinh suffered from severe depression, leading to mental illness, memory loss, erratic behavior such as destroying property, and even banging her head against the wall in an attempt to commit suicide.

The actress choked up as she said, "That time was terrible, I haven't even told anyone about it. I was locked in a room, they turned on the music, and I was beaten without anyone knowing. At that time, I wanted to maintain my dignity because I was still an actress."

The person who helped her recover from those hardships was her daughter, Thanh Tú. "At that time, Tú hugged me and said, 'Mom, hit me so you won't feel so much pain' - it was Tú's words that helped me regain my composure. If my 13-year-old daughter could say something like that, why couldn't I try to control myself?" she recounted.

After all the ups and downs, Kieu Trinh reflected: "After everything, I've calmed down and thought about what's most important. Now I only have my father and my children left. Remembering what Huu Chau once said: 'Whether it's heavy or light, why not choose the light? Whether it's joy or sorrow, I've decided to choose the light and the joyful.'"

Her life is now more peaceful with her family.

Now in her late 40s, actress Kieu Trinh enjoys a more peaceful life. Besides acting, she continues her work designing and tailoring traditional Vietnamese ao dai dresses.

"I just wish my father always stays healthy. Of course, the cycle of birth, aging, sickness, and death is unavoidable, but I still hope he lives to be around 100 years old. And at this age, I only wish for family reunion, hoping that my children will soon be able to be close to each other because my family rarely has the opportunity to meet all together," Kiều Trinh confided.
