Ha Giang merges the Provincial Newspaper and Radio and Television Station.

According to Decision No. 1856-QD/TU, dated April 24, 2025, of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee on the merger of Ha Giang Newspaper and Ha Giang Radio and Television Station into Ha Giang Newspaper.

Ha Giang Newspaper (new) is a public service unit directly under the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, officially commencing operations on April 24, 2025.

The Ha Giang Newspaper (new) is implementing tasks according to Project 42, dated April 24, 2025, of the Provincial Party Committee on the merger of the Newspaper and the Provincial Radio and Television Station; issuing working regulations; and appointing civil servants and officials to leadership and management positions at the departmental level in accordance with regulations on the decentralization of personnel management.

Provincial leaders presented appointment decisions to officials of Ha Giang Newspaper.

At the same time, arrange the number of civil servants, public employees, and workers in the departments and subordinate units in accordance with their professional qualifications, expertise, strengths, and work experience; ensure stability and continuity in implementing policies for civil servants, public employees, and workers as prescribed; streamline the internal apparatus and staffing according to the regulations of the Party and the laws of the State.

Regarding personnel matters, the Standing Committee of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee assigned and appointed Comrade Nguyen Trung Thu, Member of the Provincial Party Committee and Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper, to the position of Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper.

Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, presented the appointment decision to Comrade Hoang Thi Hang, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, appointing her to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department.

The decision appoints Comrade Hoang Thi Hang, Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station, to the position of Deputy Head of the Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department. The following comrades are appointed as Deputy Editors-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper: Mai Ngoc Quynh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper; Nguyen Binh Minh, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Ha Giang Newspaper; Tran Viet Tuyen, Deputy Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station; and Ngo Chien Quang, Deputy Director of the Provincial Radio and Television Station.

Speaking at the ceremony, Comrade Hau A Lenh, Member of the Central Committee of the Party and Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, congratulated the two agencies on fulfilling their political mission over a long period.

The comrade acknowledged and highly appreciated the contributions of the two agencies over the past terms, which have played an important role in helping the province successfully implement its socio -economic development tasks.

Comrade Hau A Lenh, Secretary of the Ha Giang Provincial Party Committee, delivered a speech at the conference.

The comrade suggested that, after the merger, the Ha Giang Newspaper should promptly stabilize its facilities and working conditions; stabilize the mindset and morale of its staff and employees so that they can immediately begin work without interruption.

Furthermore, the process of restructuring and streamlining the administrative apparatus must be truly objective and transparent. This must be coupled with ensuring that the benefits and policies for the staff during the restructuring and streamlining process are properly addressed.

For newly appointed comrades, it is necessary to promote exemplary and leading roles, build a united and cohesive leadership team, and serve as a role model for the team of officials and employees to follow.
