Hanoi approves the urban zoning plan of Soc Son district, zone 3

The planning aims to concretize the approved Master Plan for the construction of Hanoi Capital, the Master Plan for the construction of Soc Son district, the Master Plan for the satellite city of Soc Son and the orientation for adjusting the Master Plan of the Capital to 2045, with a vision to 2065, which has been approved by the Prime Minister in Decision No. 700/QD TTg dated June 16, 2023.

The Soc Son urban subdivision planning, zone 3, has a research scale of about 1,424 hectares.

The goal of the planning is to form an urban area with the main functions of medical, cultural,educational , public urban service complexes, parks, trees, large-scale sports combined with renovating and embellishing existing village areas, supplementing and perfecting the social infrastructure and technical infrastructure for the area.

Planning is also the legal basis for land use management according to planning, determining construction investment projects and making detailed plans, proposing a list of investment programs and strategic projects, controlling urban development and management.

According to Decision No. 6396, the planning research area is about 1,424ha; the expected population by 2030 is about 46,210 people. Research boundary scope: The North borders the planned route to Den Soc area; The South borders route 18 in the direction of the new planning route; The West borders the protection corridor and the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen national railway; The East borders the planned urban road B = 40m.

The Soc Son urban zoning plan, Zone 3, is expected to become an urban development area, including the main functions: Medical - cultural - educational complex; urban public services; Hanoi city-level sports and entertainment center (horse racing track); Area for renovating existing villages, developing ecological projects, community services, high-quality housing; Technical infrastructure hub (traffic hub associated with and supporting urban functions).

The Hanoi People's Committee assigned the Soc Son District People's Committee to preside over and coordinate with the Hanoi Institute of Construction Planning and the Hanoi Department of Planning and Architecture to publicly announce the approved planning project content for relevant organizations, agencies and the People to know and implement.
