Two AirPods 4 models launched

The "It's Glowtime" event took place at 10am on September 9 (local time) with the launch of a series of new products from Apple. In which, AirPods 4 has two models with many upgrades.

AirPods 4: There are two versions of Apple AirPods in development, both with a new design. This will be a combination of AirPods 3 and AirPods Pro in design, including the short stem.

The two new AirPods 4 models will have active noise cancellation (previously only available on the AirPods Pro and AirPods Max) and Find My support. Neither of the AirPods 4 variants will have replaceable silicone tips like the AirPods Pro, but they will have an improved fit.

Apple says: We used advanced modeling tools to build an unparalleled ear dataset. This generated 50 million data points, allowing Apple to refine the design to create the most comfortable AirPods ever.

AirPods 4 feature a new acoustic architecture with rich bass and clear highs, along with personalized spatial audio. They use machine learning to support nodding and shaking your head when asked by Siri, and voice isolation to eliminate background noise.

In addition, Apple will upgrade the appearance of the AirPods 4 charging case. It will be equipped with a speaker to serve the Find My feature, help play sound when lost and use a USB-C port instead of Lightning.

AirPods 4 will have a smaller, more portable USB-C charging case that offers up to 30 hours of battery life. Wireless charging options will be built into the new charging case, using Qi and MagSafe.
