Cam Tien and Phuc Ngu are two of 136 underprivileged but academically gifted 12th-grade students in Can Tho City who received scholarships from the "Supporting Students During Exam Season" program, organized by the Can Tho City Association for the Promotion of Learning in coordination with the Can Tho City Department of Education and Training. The scholarships aim to encourage and motivate these students to overcome difficulties, study hard, and confidently perform well in the upcoming high school graduation exam.

At the recent ceremony to receive and honor sponsors for the "Scholarship and Talent Promotion Fund" of Can Tho City, in the first phase of 2026, the entire city mobilized more than 12 billion VND from organizations, individuals, and businesses, including Hoa Hao Medic Can Tho General Hospital. Besides focusing on medical examination and treatment, Hoa Hao Medic Can Tho General Hospital also actively participates in social welfare activities and promotes education and talent. Since its establishment, the hospital has spent more than 42 billion VND on community activities; awarded 1,000 scholarships and more than 10,500 gifts to disadvantaged people and policy beneficiary families in the Mekong Delta and Cambodia. Notably, the hospital also donated an electronic library worth 220 million VND to Ly Tu Trong Specialized High School.

According to Mr. Nguyen Thanh Xuan, Chairman of the Can Tho City Association for the Promotion of Learning, for many years, the movement to promote learning and talent in Can Tho City has always received the support of businesses, organizations, individuals, and philanthropists. The city has chosen May 19th each year as the day to mobilize the whole society to contribute to the "For a Developed Can Tho Tomorrow" Fund for the Promotion of Learning and Talent. After 19 years of implementation, more than 1 million students, teachers, and university students in difficult circumstances have been supported, contributing to the training of human resources and the nurturing of talents for the locality.
