Binh Thuan – Ta Nang - Phan Dung is renowned as one of the most beautiful trekking routes in Vietnam, attracting young people who want to challenge their limits.
The starting point of the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking route is usually in Ta Nang commune, Duc Trong district, Lam Dong province. The end point is the edge of the forest in Phan Dung commune, Tuy Phong district, Binh Thuan province. The 55 km route crosses three provinces: Lam Dong, Ninh Thuan , and Binh Thuan, and typically takes about 2 days and 1 night to complete. Tourists will begin their journey from the edge of Ta Nang forest, where the terrain is relatively flat and the grasslands are lush green. The mountain ranges are high, with some hills reaching 1,160m and the lowest 500m above sea level. After a long journey, visitors will reach the summit of Ta Nang - Phan Dung, 1,160m high, and the boundary marker of the three provinces, 1,701m high. At the end of a day of mountain climbing, the trekking group will stop to camp, have dinner, and rest to regain strength for the rest of the journey. Continuing the journey, you carefully navigate downhill slopes and waterfalls. Each season brings a different kind of beauty. The green grass season usually lasts from May to October. The rains refresh the hills, leaving them lush with the vibrant green of fresh grass. The dry season coincides with the dry season, which lasts from February to June. Finally, I overcame my limits, experiencing the feeling of shedding all pressure outside the forest, with no phone signal and no internet,” shared Ms. Nguyen Thuy An, a tourist participating in the Ta Nang - Phan Dung trekking tour. Binh Thuan and Lam Dong provinces are also cooperating in developing tourism along this trekking route. Signposts and warning signs have been installed throughout the route. Photo: Duy Tuan
