The Ba Den Mountain climbing tour has officially resumed.
The Management Board of Ba Den Mountain National Tourist Area, Tay Ninh, has announced the reopening of mountain climbing and hiking activities from December 12th, after more than two months of temporary closure to ensure safety due to the impact of storms and heavy rain. This is good news for the community who love trekking and exploring nature, especially on weekends.

At an altitude of 986 meters, Mount Ba Den is not only a famous spiritual tourist destination with a modern cable car system, but also an attractive challenge for those who want to test their endurance and conquer the "roof of Southeast Vietnam" by foot.
The road is open and here are the safety regulations you need to know.
Currently, only the road that runs along the power pole system (commonly known as the Power Pole Road) is permitted to operate. To ensure a safe trip and timely assistance when needed, the Management Board has issued specific regulations that all visitors must strictly adhere to.
Regulations regarding time and registration
- Departure time: Visitors are only permitted to begin their mountain climbing journey between 5:00 AM and 11:00 AM daily.
- Information registration: It is mandatory to register your personal information at the security checkpoint at the foot of the mountain before climbing. This helps the management unit control the number of people and assists in rescue efforts in case of an incident.
Special notes along the way
The management warns that the power cable system along the Power Pole route is currently being dismantled and constructed. Climbers need to exercise extreme caution, observe carefully, and follow all instructions from the authorities to avoid unfortunate accidents. Several hotline numbers have also been published to assist visitors in emergency situations.

Responsibility for protecting the forest environment
To preserve the natural beauty and ecosystem of Mount Ba Den, visitors are required to comply with environmental protection regulations:
- Do not bring flammable or explosive materials, or toxic chemicals.
- Absolutely no littering is allowed on the road or in the forest area.
- Any acts of damaging forest trees, hunting animals, or gathering resources within the conservation area are strictly prohibited. Any violations will be dealt with according to regulations.
Previously, trekking activities at Ba Den Mountain had been temporarily suspended since the beginning of October 2025 due to the impact of Typhoon Bualoi. Prolonged heavy rain caused localized landslides and made the terrain slippery, posing many risks. The reopening comes with strict regulations to ensure the safest experience for visitors.
