From 9:00 AM on December 11th, people and vehicles (with weight and seating capacity limits) will be allowed to resume traffic on National Highway 20, the section passing through D'Ran Pass, Xuan Truong Ward, Da Lat City, Lam Dong Province.
On the morning of December 11th, the Lam Dong Department of Construction issued a notice regarding traffic flow through the D'Ran Pass , specifically the section from Km262+400 to Km262+530 on National Highway 20, within Lam Dong province.
Accordingly, people and vehicles with a payload of less than 5 tons, and passenger cars with fewer than 16 seats, are allowed to resume traffic on D'Ran Pass. Vehicles with a payload of more than 5 tons and passenger cars with more than 16 seats should choose to travel via National Highway 27 and Provincial Road 729.

According to the Lam Dong Department of Construction, construction units are currently continuing to repair and fix damaged sections of the road. Therefore, vehicles should limit travel on this section at night when visibility is limited (due to fog); drivers should drive slowly, comply with traffic signs and traffic diversion plans in areas under repair.
At the same time, it is requested that the Traffic Police Department of Lam Dong Provincial Police, the People's Committee of Xuan Truong Ward - Da Lat and D'Ran Commune provide support in deploying forces to regularly patrol and control traffic, ensuring smooth and safe traffic flow during the construction and repair of the road section; the Lam Dong Road Maintenance Management Board is responsible for organizing and arranging a complete road signage system (especially warning lights at night) according to the traffic organization plan and current regulations.

As reported by Nhan Dan Newspaper, on the evening of October 28th, a serious landslide occurred near the suspension bridge on D'Ran Pass. At the scene, several pine trees were uprooted and fell onto the road, posing a potential safety risk to people and vehicles. The following day, landslides continued in several other locations on National Highway 20, in the Xuan Truong ward of Da Lat. Following the incident, authorities cordoned off the area and implemented a response plan.
The reopening of the D'Ran pass is the result of extensive efforts by authorities and relevant units, involving over 40 days of work to repair the landslide.

Following prolonged heavy rains, many mountain passes in Lam Dong province suffered serious landslides, forcing traffic to temporarily halt. With the reopening of the D'Ran pass, along with the previously reopened Prenn and Mimosa passes, traffic is now largely flowing smoothly.
