Diversifying the forms of heritage value education for high school students.

On the afternoon of December 11th, the Department of Education and Training organized a seminar on the topic: Discussing the current state of teaching and organizing educational activities on the cultural heritage values ​​of the Central Highlands for high school students in Dak Lak province.

The seminar was attended by representatives from various departments, agencies, and localities, along with a large number of teachers from general education institutions throughout the province.

At the seminar, delegates listened to presentations on the following topics: the current state of implementing cultural heritage education activities for high school students in the province; the direction and organization of cultural heritage education activities for high school students; and the teaching and organization of cultural heritage education activities for junior high school students…

According to the delegates, there are still gaps in educating people about the cultural heritage values ​​of the Central Highlands, including teachers juggling multiple responsibilities; a lack of materials vetted by relevant authorities; and difficulties in accessing educational methods such as field trips and experiential learning.

The seminar also included discussions on ways to diversify the education of Central Highlands cultural heritage values ​​in schools; the exploitation of resources related to Central Highlands cultural heritage; and the management of Central Highlands cultural heritage education activities in schools according to students' age groups.

At the same time, it was affirmed that, in recent years, the Education sector has focused on educating high school students about the cultural heritage values ​​of the Central Highlands through various forms (experiential activities, integration into subjects, etc.), creating a healthy and comprehensive open educational environment for students; helping students understand the traditional culture of the nation and further love their homeland.

The suggestions and discussions at the workshop will be received and studied by the Education sector and incorporated into the curriculum for all levels of general education students in the province.
