The “Touching Hanoi Autumn 2025” campaign, designed to boost tourism and bring joy to residents through a series of cultural events, will run until November.

Held in collaboration between the Hanoi People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines , the event is expected to offer profound experiences of Hanoi in autumn, capturing a range of emotions from the energetic dragon boat festival, a community run for charity, to the serene beauty of magical music performed under the open sky.

Touching points of Hanoi Autumn

Nguyen Manh Quyen, Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee, shared that, inspired by the city's most beautiful season, “Touching Hanoi Autumn” is an annual series of cultural events designed to stir deep emotions in every visitor.

“This is not only an invitation to explore the unique beauty of Hanoi's autumn, but also an opportunity to deeply feel the cultural, community, and artistic values that are breathed into life through a series of special events,” he said.

The campaign opens up a journey of discovery through the capital's “touch points,” including the Run for Love on September 28, where every step taken contributed to a humanitarian cause.

They can “touch” the shimmering surface of West Lake during the Dragon Boat Racing and SUP Rowing Festival on October 5, as age-old traditions are revived in the heart of the bustling city.

Meanwhile, a sustainable lifestyle is encouraged through the Fly Light to Hanoi Journey on October 6, inspiring greater awareness of eco-tourism and environmental responsibility.

The campaign also leads Hanoi enthusiasts into emotional rich musical experiences. These include the Vietnam Airlines Classic – Hanoi Concert (October 10 and 11), a graceful “touch” of classical music performed in the heart of the Old Quarter.

Later, in November, the 5AM Concert offers a unique musical encounter at dawn, where tradition and modernity converge in a harmony of sound and emotion.

Each of these events becomes a “touch point” of memory and affection for Hanoi, contributing to a portrayal of the capital that is both classical and youthful, steeped in identity yet open and integrated with the world.

The Hanoi's senior official added that presenting Hanoi through a rich series of cultural events is an effective way to introduce the city to the world.

“We hope both locals and international tourists will have the chance to create lasting memories of Hanoi in autumn, so that the city will be remembered as a destination that is both historic and vibrant,” Quyen noted.

The campaign also encourages every citizen to become a cultural ambassador, promoting Hanoi on the international stage.

Meanwhile, Le Hong Ha, General Director of Vietnam Airlines, affirmed that “Touching Hanoi Autumn” represents a long-term step by the national carrier to position the capital on the global tourism map.

"With this campaign, we hope that Vietnam Airlines customers will 'touch' the soul of Hanoi. Our mission is to support Hanoi's sustainable tourism development and Vietnam's tourism industry in general. 'Touching Hanoi Autumn' is part of our commitment," said Ha.

According to Dang Huong Giang, Director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, the city expects to welcome about 31 million visitors this year, including 7.5 million international arrivals, and generate VND130 trillion (US$5.1 billion) in tourism revenue.

With a growing variety of tourism products, rich cultural experiences, and significant events, Hanoi is poised to capture the hearts of visitors through late 2025. As the city enters its most radiant season, autumn and winter become the perfect time to experience the charm, heritage, and energy of Vietnam's capital.

Autumn in Hanoi spans from early September to December, bringing some of the most pleasant weather of the year. With temperatures ranging between 18°C and 25°C, the cool, crisp air creates an ideal climate for exploring the city, making this season a favorite among visitors.

During this time, Hanoi enchants both locals and travelers with its poetic charm. Streets are lined with golden leaves, delicate seasonal flowers sway in the gentle breeze, and a faint, sweet fragrance lingers in the air. The entire city seems to slow down and soften, offering scenes that are as photogenic as they are soul-stirring. This is the season of emotion and nostalgia, when Hanoi reveals its most graceful and romantic self.
