To contribute positively to the overall growth of the province, the tourism industry has proactively implemented many solutions, focusing on stimulating demand and expanding the market for high-end and luxury tourists. In particular, in 2025, the tourism industry will organize a series of events.

According to information from the Department of Tourism , in 2025, Quang Ninh province will organize 24 international, national, provincial-level programs and events and nearly 150 local-level programs and events to attract tourists. Some of the programs include: Ha Long Carnival 2025 (taking place on April 30 and May 1), Miss Vietnam Sea Global 2025 (taking place in May and June), and the art program "Legend of the Heritage Land" (taking place in the second quarter).

In particular, the program "Art for Climate Festival - Halong 2025" organized by the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment will take place in Ha Long City from February to June 2025 with 20 activities divided into 3 phases in the fields of culture, arts, sports, tourism; environment and investment promotion activities.

This program will create an experience of art and nature coexisting harmoniously, inspiring solutions for sustainable environmental and climate protection through international exchange forums and community activities. This is also an opportunity for tourists, especially international tourists, to experience the diverse culture of Vietnam in general and Quang Ninh province in particular. To successfully organize this program, the Provincial People's Committee has supported and facilitated the event organizer to carry out procedures in the area. In addition, the Provincial People's Committee has also worked with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to receive guidance on the implementation of legal procedures for activities in the event. In addition, it is recommended that the Departments and Offices of the Ministry coordinate with departments, branches and localities of Quang Ninh province in the process of directing and guiding the implementation of the program "Art for Climate - Ha Long 2025".

In addition to organizing international events, the tourism industry continues to organize many cultural, sports and tourism activities and events. In particular, in the second quarter and early third quarter of 2025, programs such as: Sports sailing festival, hot air balloon festival, kite festival, OCOP fair, etc. will be organized. The number of tourists tends to increase sharply, concentrated in early May and June, mainly in localities with strengths in sea and island tourism such as: Ha Long, Van Don, Co To, Mong Cai. In addition, in 2025, localities will also actively and proactively organize traditional sports competitions such as: boat racing, traditional martial arts, chess... or events associated with regional cultural characteristics to create highlights, meeting a variety of different types of visitors.

Along with the initiative of the authorities at all levels, businesses are also making efforts to participate in developing new and attractive tourism products, thereby extending the length of stay of tourists and improving the quality of service products.
