In the limited space of the afternoon, the cultural exchange program featured performances by the Hai Phong Folk Artists Troupe and the Ninh Binh Provincial Cultural Center Troupe, showcasing performances rich in local culture. Particularly noteworthy were the performances of " Xam Con Co" (a type of folk singing) by artist Lai Thuy Duong (great-granddaughter of artist Ha Thi Cau), with the melodies "Thap An" and " Springtime in Ninh Binh" in the Hue Tinh style, leaving the audience with a lasting impression of the beautiful land of Ninh Binh.
During the program, the Hai Phong Folk Art Troupe presented puppet shows such as "The Swan" and "Harvest Day," performed by talented artists.
The exhibition "Cultural Heritage of Vietnam's Seas and Islands" is organized by the Vietnam Cultural and Art Exhibition Center in collaboration with Binh Thuan province, with the participation of 22 provinces and cities nationwide, including: Bac Giang, Hung Yen, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong, Nam Dinh, Ninh Binh, Thanh Hoa, Nghe An, Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Quang Nam, Quang Ngai, Binh Dinh, Phu Yen, Khanh Hoa, Binh Thuan, Tien Giang, Tra Vinh, Soc Trang, Bac Lieu, Kien Giang and Ca Mau .
In addition to displaying documents and artifacts about Vietnam's maritime and island culture throughout history; images of the construction and protection of Vietnam's maritime and island sovereignty; artistic photographs of Vietnam's sea and islands; the "Vietnamese Youth with the Sea and Islands of the Homeland" program; and artistic exchange programs between delegations, this is an opportunity for different cultures to interact and contribute to building and preserving traditional cultural values for future generations.
Through this exhibition, we aim to educate Vietnamese citizens about revolutionary traditions, patriotism, national pride, and a sense of responsibility towards the sea and islands of our homeland; to strengthen exchanges and organize cultural and artistic activities, and promote tourism between localities. From there, we affirm our determination to protect the values of Vietnam's sea and islands, and assert the sacred sovereignty of our Fatherland.
