Green Living Leader is a reality TV show that promotes the spirit of green living and emission reduction actions in daily life, targeting the main audience of the Gen Z generation, especially university students across the country. This is part of the Green Living Leader - Open a sustainable future campaign with the goal of reducing 300 million tons of CO2 emissions by 2050 and achieving zero net emissions by 2030.
With the goal of spreading awareness of environmental protection and changing daily habits to minimize negative impacts on nature, the production team has built a reality TV show model that is entertaining, while also realistically showing the environmental impact of young people's lifestyles.
Throughout the Green Living Leader program, there are 6 students from the following universities: Van Hien University, Foreign Language University - Hanoi National University, Ho Chi Minh City University of Economics , Can Tho University, Law University - Hanoi National University, Vin University. They are all dynamic and individualistic Gen Z youth, sharing the same desire to create breakthrough ideas, aiming for a sustainable green lifestyle, making positive contributions to the community and the environment.
Each episode of Green Living Leader is designed according to each theme: "Eat green", "Wear green", "Live green", thereby presenting a green living message in a practical and accessible way for young people.
Miss H'Hen Nie accompanies the program
The program gives challenges in each episode, 6 contestants are divided into teams depending on the task of each episode, each group is provided with a CO2 account throughout the rounds. Which group has the most CO2? The person with the lowest balance in their account at the end of the program will win and become the "Green Living Leader" Champion.
The program was held in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Tien Giang, attracting thousands of students to participate, creating a highlight with its experiential and practical impact. The Green Festivals were organized on a large scale, attracting the attention of students and young people, from arranging interactive points, gift exchange booths to stages to interact with guests, thereby inspiring Gen Z about a green lifestyle.
The program features prestigious experts in the fields of environment, sustainable fashion and green cuisine. They will support, provide knowledge and solutions to protect the environment, and at the same time guide and evaluate the contestants.
Green Living Leader consists of 4 episodes, broadcast at 3:00 p.m. every Sunday on VTV3 channel on January 19, 26 and February 9, 16, 2025.
