As a native of Dak Lak, Miss H'Hen Nie is heartbroken by the situation of her fellow countrymen affected by floods.
H'Hen Nie confided: "I've been home for the past few days but the rain has not stopped. It's the main season but the coffee gardens along the rivers and streams are flooded, trees have fallen down, I feel sad for the efforts of the people.
Hen's family suffered the same fate. Many trees in the garden were blown down by the wind and the coffee plants had to be left out in the rain. Farming in weather like this is a pity. It takes a whole year's worth of effort.
I was even more worried when I read the news that people in coastal areas had their houses flooded. I feel so sorry for everyone. I hope everyone is safe and the water recedes soon.
Miss Universe Vietnam 2017 H'Hen Nie shared that many people texted her to come and support her, but this year she just gave birth and encountered many inconveniences, unable to visit her relatives in person.
H'Hen Nie called on all kind-hearted people to transfer donations to the account of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee, and at the same time called on people in distress to contact their locality for help.

Let's contribute together, everyone, big or small, it is all valuable.”
H'Hen Nie and Phuong My Chi donated to the people of Dak Lak province but did not announce the specific amount.
