Allocating 80 billion VND to support 4 provinces to overcome damage caused by floods

Faced with the severe damage caused by floods in Lam Dong, Khanh Hoa, Dak Lak, and Gia Lai provinces, on November 22, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee - Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VFF) decided to allocate 80 billion VND to support 4 provinces, each province 20 billion VND to overcome the consequences caused by floods.

On November 22, on behalf of the leaders of the Party, State, and Vietnam Fatherland Front, Politburo member and Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu presented 20 billion VND to the Party Committee, government, and people of Khanh Hoa province from the mobilized funds of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee.

This amount of money is the sentiment of the people nationwide supporting through the receiving account number of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee with the hope that it will be distributed promptly, publicly and transparently to the people affected by floods, contributing more resources for each family to soon stabilize production and life.

On behalf of the Central Relief Mobilization Committee, Ms. Bui Thi Minh Hoai, Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, President of the Vietnam Fatherland Front Central Committee, presented 20 billion VND to support Lam Dong province to overcome the consequences caused by floods.

Politburo member and Permanent Deputy Prime Minister Nguyen Hoa Binh visited, encouraged, directed the work of overcoming the consequences of natural disasters and presented 20 billion VND in support to Dak Lak province.

On the same day, General Phan Van Giang, Politburo member and Minister of National Defense, presented 20 billion VND from the Central Relief Mobilization Committee's mobilized funds to the people of Gia Lai province.

According to statistics, as of November 22, the total amount of money and goods registered through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee is more than 1,400 billion VND.

Of which, the units registered through the Central Mobilization Committee but directly transferred support to localities of 618.5 billion VND (including: 500 billion VND supported by VinGroup Corporation, directly coordinated by Thien Tam Fund with the Fatherland Front of provinces and cities to implement in localities; Hanoi city (100 billion VND), Can Tho city (2.5 billion VND), EcoPark Group (10 billion VND), Samsung Vietnam (5 billion VND), Honda Vietnam (1 billion VND)).

The units registered to support at the Autumn Fair were 112,596 billion VND (The Autumn Fair took place from October 26 to November 4, 2025 in Hanoi. At the Fair, many businesses, organizations and individuals registered to support the work of preventing and overcoming the consequences of storms and floods through the Vietnam Fatherland Front channel).

Agencies, organizations, businesses and individuals donated funds and products through the Central Relief Mobilization Committee worth over 701 billion VND.

As of 12 noon on November 22, the entire Vietnam Fatherland Front system at all levels had mobilized over 2,800 billion VND to support people to overcome the consequences caused by storms and floods.

With the spirit of timely allocation to support people to overcome difficulties caused by floods, from the amount received, the Central Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated 9 installments with a total amount of 678,182 billion VND to 23 localities that have suffered heavy damage caused by floods in the recent past.

Along with that, localities and units have directly allocated 118.5 billion VND in funding to localities.

VinGroup Corporation, through Thien Tam Fund, as of November 21, has disbursed more than 350 billion VND (equal to 70% of the 500 billion VND registered for support).
