"Revival" was held on the evening of October 15th at Kim Tan Square, Lao Cai province, with the aim of raising funds for charity to support the people there who are suffering damage from Typhoon No. 3 (Typhoon Yagi). The music director is musician Pham Viet Tuan.

Composer Pham Viet Tuan said: "We have worked with the provincial leaders and they are very supportive and eager for the concert to take place. 'Revival' will be held on the evening of October 15th at Kim Tan Square, Lao Cai province, a locality that has suffered greatly, not in some big city."

Composer Pham Viet Tuan (second from the right) said the concert received much support.

Further explaining the theme of "Recovery," the organizing committee stated that overcoming the aftermath of the storm is also a desire of people nationwide.

BTC chose this theme because all losses, natural disasters, and floods will eventually pass. Those who survive must persevere, must continue to live, and they desperately need sharing and support to rebuild their homes and create new lives.

The organizers of the program hope to share more information with households still in need of assistance to build houses through the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front . "Our goal is to build as many houses as possible, depending on the donations from benefactors," a representative of the organizing committee shared.

Singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh and all the other singers voluntarily participated in the program without receiving any payment.

With a large lineup of singers, the show's director revealed that this will be a night of truly emotional music for the audience. "Revival" will present songs about the homeland, about the hardships overcome, and about a brighter future.

Revival also requires youthful songs to soothe the pain and give people more positive energy.

Besides the singers' performances, the program included a fundraising auction. All three auctioned items were donated by people from Lao Cai province. These included a gemstone painting donated by a local business, a painting depicting the future of Lang Nu village by a local artist, and finally, a painting of the beautiful Northwest mountainous landscape by a student.

All proceeds from the program will be handed directly to households in Lao Cai province affected by Typhoon Yagi and donated to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's account for the repair and reconstruction of infrastructure.

"Revival" was broadcast live on Lao Cai Radio and Television, and streamed live on Sapa TV at 8 PM on October 15th.
