"Resurrection" was held on the evening of October 15 at Kim Tan Square, Lao Cai Province with the hope of raising charity funds to support the people here who are suffering from the damage caused by storm No. 3 (storm Yagi). The music director is musician Pham Viet Tuan.

Musician Pham Viet Tuan said: "We have worked with the provincial leaders and they are very supportive and want the music night to take place. "Resurrection" will be held on the evening of October 15 at Kim Tan Square, Lao Cai province, a locality that has suffered pain, not in any other big city."

Musician Pham Viet Tuan (second from right) said the music night received a lot of support.

Explaining further about the theme "Revival", the Organizing Committee said that overcoming the consequences of the storm is also the desire of people across the country.

BTC chose this theme because all losses, natural disasters, storms and floods will pass. The living still have to persevere, still have to live and they really need sharing, joining hands to rebuild houses and create new lives.

The program's organizers hope to share more with the Lao Cai Provincial Fatherland Front to help households in need to build their houses. "Our goal is to build as many houses as possible, depending on the donations from benefactors," said the organizer.

Singer Nguyen Ngoc Anh and other singers voluntarily participated in the program without receiving any pay.

With a large cast of singers, the program's general director revealed that this will be a night of music full of emotions for the audience. "Resurrection" brings songs about the homeland, about the difficulties that have passed as well as looking forward to a bright future.

Revival also cannot lack youthful songs to soothe the pain, helping people have more positive energy.

In addition to the singers’ performances, the program also included a fundraising auction. All three works auctioned were from Lao Cai residents. They were a gemstone painting donated to the program by a local business, a painting of the future Lang Nu village by a local artist, and finally a painting of a beautiful Northwest mountain landscape by a student.

All proceeds from the program will be given directly to households in Lao Cai province affected by storm Yagi and donated to the Vietnam Fatherland Front's account for the repair and reconstruction of infrastructure.

"Resurrection" will be broadcast live on Lao Cai Radio and Television, broadcast live on Sapa TV channel at 8:00 p.m. on October 15.
