The art program "The Country is Full of Joy" was organized by the Central Military Commission and the Ministry of National Defense, with the direction of Military Region 7, on a large scale at the Reunification Hall.
With the participation of more than 1,000 artists, singers and actors from the Art Troupes of Military Regions 1, 2, 5, 7 and 9; units of the Border Guard, Air Defense - Air Force; Military Theater, Military Ceremonial Troupe and students from art schools in Ho Chi Minh City and the Military University of Culture and Arts, the program brought a large-scale, grand and revolutionary artistic performance. In which, the Art Troupe of Military Region 7 took on the main role.
Images of heroic Vietnamese mothers appearing on stage moved the audience.
The highlight of the program was the participation of many famous artists such as People's Artist Thanh Thuy, singers Cam Van, Tung Duong, Vu Thang Loi, Do To Hoa. In particular, People's Artist Tu Long and singers of the Anh Trai Vuon Ngan Cong Gai group performed a special performance for the event, leaving a deep impression on the audience.
The program has more than 1,000 artists and actors inside and outside the Army, with a stage size of more than 3,000 m2.
The program "A Country Full of Joy" lasts 90 minutes with 19 art performances, structured into three chapters: "Aspiration for Unification", "Aspiration for Rising" and "Aspiration for Power". The general director is Lieutenant Colonel, Meritorious Artist Nguyen Xuan Hung; the script is written by Colonel, Doctor, People's Artist Nguyen Thi Thu Ha and Captain Le Nguyen An Chi.
People's Artist Huu Tu took on the role of chief choreographer, while Colonel and musician Ho Trong Tuan held the position of Music Director. The program was elaborately staged and thoroughly rehearsed since early April 2025, demonstrating the serious and creative working spirit of the collective of artists and soldiers of the Vietnam People's Army.
The program opened with the song "That Soldier", recreating the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers during the heroic fighting years.
Chapter 1 with the theme "Aspiration for Unification" brought the audience back to the period when the country was divided with famous songs such as: Cau ho ben bo Hien Luong, Bai ca hy vong, Tren dinh Truong Son ta hat, Dat nuoc and especially the medley Dat nuoc tron niem vui - Mua xuan tren Thanh ho Chi Minh. The familiar melodies touched deep emotions, recalling unforgettable memories of the great spring victory in 1975.

Chapter 2 with the theme "Aspiration to Rise" reflects the spirit of solidarity and overcoming difficulties of the nation in the process of rebuilding the country after the war. Works such as The South forever remembers His grace, Singing about rice today, and The song that does not forget affirm the will, determination and strong belief of the Vietnamese people on the journey of innovation, integration and development.
Not simply an art program, "The Country is Full of Joy" is also an epic expressing deep gratitude for the sacrifices for the nation's independence and freedom.
Closing is chapter 3 with the theme "Aspiration for power" which concludes the program with a heroic and proud atmosphere through the medleys "For the people, forget yourself" - Truong Sa military song, Young city, Melody of the Fatherland... The brilliant ending depicts the image of a peaceful, developed Vietnam, rich in identity and full of aspirations in the new era.
The image of metro train No. 1 appearing shows Ho Chi Minh City growing and entering a new era.
Through the language of music, body and stage, the program honors the leadership role of the Party, President Ho Chi Minh and the indomitable fighting spirit of our army and people, especially the image of Uncle Ho's soldiers in the historic Ho Chi Minh Campaign.

The program is an affirmation of strong belief and aspiration to develop the country in the new era, true to the spirit of Ho Chi Minh City over the past 50 years, rising from hardship to become the leading economic and cultural center of the country.
